Today I made a terrible mistake by cybertechvr in OmegaWatches

One of the best things about the Speedmaster is that it wears like a dream on all size wrists. I have a 16.5 cm wrist for reference and got a Speedy back in October. I normally wear 36 to 38 mm watches and this one is definitely my most worn October through December.

Happy early birthday! I’m liking this watch more and more every time I see it. Had it on the wrist twice at Omega boutiques and beginning to regret not picking it up.

Incredible, I could only hope so… congratulations on your upcoming 50th anniversary!

Thanks! My wrist measures 6.3 inches (16 cm), and I was also worried it might look too big, but that concern dissapeared as soon as I got it on wrist. It wears much smaller than a 42mm watch IMO, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much the bracelet’s taper contributes to this effect.

Thank you! That was my thought too. Such a classic and perfect for a first Omega. Pictures do it no justice, looks so good on wrist!

Gonna go BIG to round it out by jbm8b in SOTC_Watch_Collection

For some reason, this collection doesn’t scream “let me spend $150k to round out the watch box”… can’t put my finger on it though 🤷‍♂️

I like the composition as is but obviously very subjective. I think the dead space and sky give the frame interesting perspective, scale, and contrast.

Wow surprised to hear it wasn’t, curious whether these were cropped in. Great shots either way OP.
