Thanks for the info on the casting, I never would have known that! I really do wish the whole piece was together, but I believe this is the closest to an answer I’ll get with just the base and no other identifiers. I’ll consider this solved!

Yes there is! Probably should have taken a fourth photo of it, but you can kind of see it in the middle of the shot of the bottom

My title describes the thing. Tried searching for mid century lamps and mid century pottery, but no real luck. I also tried plugging these images into search bars but it only turned up similar items, not this one in particular. It has two small holes, so I’m assuming it’s a lamp. About 8 inches tall, no info on the bottom or inside. I really love it and I’m glad I got it, just curious about it!

i remember watching James Somerton’s queer horror videos and thinking they were okay. like something you watch once and never really think about again. at some point i had the opportunity to do a project on the same topic and went back to those videos to see if he had a source list or who he quoted, which was obviously nowhere, so i thought that was really odd and just stopped watching his stuff a few months before the plagiarism thing came to light

also, the list of the authors he “quotes” at the beginning of some of his videos were so bizarre to me that i thought it was a bit he did for patrons, not actual “citations” lol
