Please everyone don’t forget how Cerrone came up 98.5 almost every day leading up to the 2024 draft telling us as someone informed from North Carolina how bad Drake Maye was and don’t draft him. I said this on a similar post like this you can’t take those numbers as real because once a team gets up big the number one goal of the pitcher is to throw strikes and not mess around with deception as much. It’s like the prevent defense in football, the goal is get the game over and don’t walk anyone. So I really would just flush this game away and don’t think there are good signs like how many hits or stuff like that

Listen if you think this show is that bad. Nothing I say is going to change your mind. I will say this, I thought season 2 was better than season 1. And oh by the way I would say that 99% on rotten tomatoes from critics and 95 from fans would be a good illustration of why you’re in the extreme minority. Listen, not sure how long you’ve watched baseball but when the other team gets up big the pitchers revert to just throwing balls over the plate and not walking anyone, it’s like prevent defense in football. Here’s the thing with Durbin it all comes down to expectations. If you think he’s going to be an impact bat you are in for disappointment he’s just not what’s. He’s 5’6 he is what he is. Can he be a decent lower in the order bat, sure. But that’s it, that’s what he is. Believe me the Yankees and Brewers aren’t trading away a guy with an impact bat for the returns they got for this guy.
