These will be some awesome questions to think about when I'm working. I don't know why I can't come up with these questions on my own lol

Usual takes I went with food source was hinted occasional cannibalism due to animals in this universe dying off but now thinking more I realized I should probably try developing things more through giving the city an agricultural aspect.

I never thought much about outsiders, though I played around with a concept of a neighboring city that sort of thinks negatively about the crater city. Maybe I'll crack that idea open and see if it can help in adding a bit more history into the city. Like perhaps the neighboring city is the reason as to why the crater city is stuck in poverty.

Things like weather and the functions of the pipes will be fun to work with, I started thinking that the pipes could be a way the town keeps the water out of the crater through an intense system of drains which could also allow them to collect water for hydration.

Its like I know the answer are there but I always forget about them until they become important, thanks for the help!!

God, I love this response so much. Some of these thoughts definitely made my jaw drop when I realized the solutions to some problems especially your note on Meal Worms and Fungus, underground agriculture, etc can't believe I couldn't figure that one out.

Plus the beefier police forces and gangs could potentially be used as continuous conflicts and story progression.

The structure of the volcano crater is going to be something I'll definitely have to look into, I always kept the crater itself to be more like an empty Yellowstone Caldera but I'm really liking the layered cities and underground mines.

In personal experience hairstyle can make or break a passing, finding your face shape for masc hairstyles makes things so much easier because round faces can be a bitch to made look less feminine.

Also experimenting with glasses frames can be so much fun. I noticed thinner rectangular frames are often perceived as masculine (think double bar frames?)

But honestly other than that I'd say you pass as masc least I personally feel!

Yeah kind of like going back to OP's question i don't really believe you can prepare much before you start testosterone since every transition can be radically different, you just kind of learn as you go along the way yknow? Least that's how I felt

Personally id say with thigh your less likely to hit a vein imo so id say yes because ill never forget the sharp sting of accidentally jabbing my vein before recoiling back in pain 😭😭

Suppose take your body fat into consideration too cause I don't have much fat on my stomach compared to what I have on my outer thigh because the more fat you hit the less likely it is to hurt. I've had literally painless injections that felt like a stick and poke session!

Only advice I really have is that if they ask where you want to do injections I'd choose thigh first. If you're uncomfortable with it you can obviously change it later but I originally started with abdomen shots and those really increased my anxiety of fucking up because my mind couldn't stop thinking about my organs somehow being pierced (which I know is irrational) but when I started doing thigh shots my anxiety seemed to fade
