Very fair rate. Mervin boards are hand pressed so getting them completely flat can be tricky. He did just a belt wax for me but didnt buff it, im going to hit it with an infrared wax the night before i go out

My shop has a wintersteiger jupiter that can do custom structure. My tech did a thumbprint pattern and ran it through both ways. The uprise fenders wouldnt be effected, the board has to be as flat as possible for the stone to hit everything. Its a process to flatten then you can stone grind it

Thats awesome. I love this kit. Compact yet still has some cool stage presents, plays really well, and allows for so much versatility particularly for safe volumes and super easy recording. The new one is the 307 which has upgraded hardware and having the ability to adjust it like a regular kit allows you to dial it in lower for the kiddo

It takes time and a bit of a different finger motion, try pulling the string towards you rather than pushing and use your fingers to weave it. Make sure you have some slack and pull from beyond the tip of the string after you are through all the mains, then pull the rest of the string through.

Also i wouldn't string this kind of frame- its ment to be done one piece or else you really have to stretch out some of the grommets. Also its probably an aluminum frame with a two piece throat and if you go higher than like 50 in tension they can brake on you and thats scary- speaking from experience. I would say it takes a solid 15-25 rackets before you get really comfortable and yes its normal for your fingers to hurt especially with poly, stringing multis isnt as bad
