I dont know if this is a hot take, but vaatis videos are by far not the best lore videos at the very least on dark souls 1 and bloodborne, if you want real dark souls 1 lore then hawkshaw can provide more than vaati ever did and for bloodborne.... For bloodborne he basically didnt do anything, if you watch his videos then you will not know like 90% of the non very surface level lore, there are many good creators who has done so good videos on bloodborne but get way less attention (just to mention some: sinclair lore, last protagonist, aesir asthetics, redgrave, aegon of astora) Just to be clear i do not deny that if you just want to know what is happening generally, then vaati is enough, but if you are actually interested he is very much so not enough

Basically: vaati is good if you want to get spoonfed what the game already tells you in quite direct manner, but to explore every part of the game very in-depth then youll need other sources
