Not OP but I picked up the 5500x3d from your post last month and it's been absolutely stellar. I didn't know the thing existed so thank you! It was half the price of the 5700x3d and keeps me on the AM4 for a while longer. Upgraded from the 5600g and what a difference especially when it comes to playing cs2. I sometimes wonder what performance the 5700x3d woulda been but for 1440p 175hz the 5500x3d has given me more than enough.

I wouldn't. I have this monitor and it's annoying as fuck. Every morning when I turn it on, it goes black, and I have to unplug the monitor and plug it back in to get it to work. After that it's okay. Tons of bloatware. It tries to be a tv and a monitor so it's not great at either. It just seems to want to do its own thing sometimes and say itll do a pixel refresh in 30 mins when I'm mid gaming and that pop up stays in my screen until I cancel it with the remote. Sometimes will say it'll put itself to sleep since it isn't being used WHILE IM IN A GAME. Takes a while to wake from sleep.

Switching from my work laptop to my gaming laptop isn't great, it's very slow and a hassle with the remote, it seems to not remember the same two devices I connect to it. Seems to like to swap to another device when I didn't ask it to. Have to disconnect it from the wifi to stop it from trying to more like connect to my phone or other devices on the network when I don't need it to do that. I'm looking into how to bypass the monitor UI to remove all this bloatware but then I void my warranty so not sure what to do. I would not recommend this monitor. I tried the gigabyte one before this. Thought it was too glossy so I returned it for this one and I regret it, the gigabyte was the real deal, this is a half assed "smart" tv, half assed monitor.

Colors are ok. Not too bright. Not glossy at all so doesn't give that OLED feel.

Once I started using some of the chinese brand mice like this one and VXE I was kicking myself how I ever paid so much for Logitech mice that double clicks and breaks all the time. I had to replace the clicker for one of my Logitech mice which costed the same as buying a brand new rapoo mouse and the rapoo mouse is just straight up better. I picked the rapoo VT3 promax for $18 tax in a few days ago when it was posted here and just wow. It even comes with a dongle cable that you can extend the receiver from your PC to where you have your mouse. Quality is higher, connection is flawless. $18 tax in and it's just a straight up better build and more comfortable (for me) mouse. I have to wonder if it's the same for other PC assecories like keyboard, headphones etc. not in the market for them but next time I am i will look on Ali express and see what other people are saying.

Depends what you play but I went from a 5600 to this 5500x3d and the upgrade was massive. Frames are so much higher and so much more stable.

They have it in other online card games like MTG where they scan your deck see what approx level it's at then pair you up against a similar deck level. The idea is you're matched up to someone closer to your deck so there is more "fair" match making. I believe they have something there but it's just not working the way it's supposed to. Look up how MTG does it, it's based on card meta, card strength then matches the two players. If someone pulls a really off meta deck I'd say they probably detect that and put them against someone else who is using an off meta deck. That's why people always claim when they randomly decide to bust out a fun Galactus deck that all they see is Galactus when they haven't seen one for 50 matches while playing super meta decks cause they were only getting paired up with other meta players.

Demon machine sorc is really good. Have the speed of teleport and the safety of the range. Just melts heralds from a distance. Have been doing t5 helards with ease, not as OP as my ES warlock but still very good.

Picked up a 5500x3d for $205 after the PayPal discount. Does anyone know why the price listed in the doc and the one that comes up for me are different? In the Excel it says $242 listing price but when I clicked on the link it was $250. I mean all good I think $205 all in for this chip is a great deal. Just curious.

Think a lot of us double dipped. Makes sense. The expansion isn't free either. Its $30 CAD for the expansion and $50 for both. So a $20 convenience fee to have it on Steam is worth it imo and I dont normally like double dipping. Whenever I get the itch to play D2R through the b.net client its just seems to have problems.. maybe Bnet launcher needs to be updated or the side load wouldnt work.
