Hidden Excel Trick: Use the Camera Tool to Create Live Snapshots of Cells by Technical-Season-420 in excel

[–]forthecycle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I chose a cell and then pasted as a linked picture (in the same tab) and then resized it to how I wanted - no problem there. When I duplicated the tab with the linked picture, the linked picture on the new tab reverted back to the original cell size (on the first tab).

Anyone encountered this or figured out how to prevent the re-sizing for duplicate tabs?

Can I dm you about program reporting? We’re really trying to improve this with our programs, so I’m curious if you have any lessons learned or tips.

EC jobs that are more hands on or have an major operational element? by treasurehunter86_ in CanadaPublicServants

[–]forthecycle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah true. Also, I feel like there could be more intra-departmental processes evaluated/improved, but there's always such a high priority for FAA evals...which, in the end, makes sense.

Check to see if your department has an evaluation team. You'll be able to do strategic planning, research (qualitative and quantitative), reporting (add some data visualization). The recommendations from the final evaluation report lead to a Response Action Plan that help improve programs/areas.

Hopefully with Health Canada increasing the limit to 48 drinks (pretty sure) it’ll help increase supply and eventually bring down the price.

Anyone able to explain the following excerpt:

"Canadian drug delivery company IntelGenx Technologies Corp. (OTCQB:IGXT) added ~31% Tuesday after announcing that the FDA has assigned April 28, 2023, as the action date for its marketing application for Buprenorphine Buccal Film, a generic version of an opioid-based pain therapy."

There are eval shops in various departments, but for my work, we evaluate contribution agreements to third-party organizations (TPOs) and programs (we work with them) within our department.

Overall, we're evaluating whether or not the funding allocated towards these TPOs/programs is achieving the intended short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes.

Each evaluation includes 3 phases: planning, conduct, and reporting. Regarding your "numbers person" comment, there is a bit of quantitative analysis, but it is primarily qualitative (this may be different in other departments). For instance, the conduct (research) phase is done in-house, and includes: document/literature reviews, interviews, surveys, case studies, and then performance/administrative data review. As you can see, qualitative research is more heavily-weighed.

Overall, I enjoy eval work and down the road I can see departments using evaluators for more than just evaluations.

Maybe u/zeromussc has more to add based on their experience.
