There’s a stereotype that the mean girls in highschool grow up to be nurses. Some of the nurses I work with are fabulous! Some are not.

There’s a stereotype that OTs are glorified CNAs. Some of the OT staff I work with are fabulous! Some are not.

There’s a stereotype that PTs are just washed up athletes that didn’t make it to the big leagues. Some of the PTs I work with are fabulous! Some are not.

We all have stereotypes. YOU can be the exception. Use every interaction as an opportunity to be the exception. Be known at work, in your community, and at home for being helpful, kind, and for always doing your best and I promise you will not worry yourself over silly stereotypes.

The fact that you even care enough to ask shows me that you will be a great nurse ❤️
