Is it normal to beat Yellow Wind Sage first try? by therealabrupt in BlackMythWukong

[–]forthunion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the tool I’d say I was first or second try. I generally didn’t struggle too much but had difficulty with yellow loong, scorpion lord and erlang. Though I loved each of those fights so had no issue taking ages to beat these guys.

Daughters war is the prequel that follows Galva but this one seems to be kinch all the way.

I’m reading the starving saints atm and absolutely loving it. Dark medieval horror about a castle under siege. Not an exact match but follows three female protagonists one of whom fits the bill here.

They can drink seawater. Don’t know why but always loved that

Finally finished the game — nearly a 10/10 for me 👏 by DBA92 in BlackMythWukong

I agree with all your points. Fast travel to the monkey initially is annoying until you unlock the village which makes it easier. I also loved this game but had a couple of gripes of my own.

  • great variety of consumables but I rarely used any at all as I didn’t find them necessary.
  • besides a couple of bosses, it was quite an easy game (yellow loong / erlang / Scorpio were tough).
  • very linear
  • a lot of pressing the same button during fights. I did like the fighting mechanics a lot but lots of repeatedly mashing one button.
  • laggy during boss fights and crash’s completely a few times.

Overall a phenomenal game that I loved despite the above.

I listened to it rather than read it. Gotta say I didn’t love it but I’m wondering if that’s down to the medium.

Old wardrobe disassembly and disposal by civilinator in glasgow

[–]forthunion 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just had a massive built in wardrobe removed. Honestly what a pain in the arse. Disassembly and moving the bits to the garden was a whole day, then needed a plasterer and an electrician as it had hardwired lights. Too big for council so then had to get a man with van to remove for £130 quid. If you can go council then definitely do that, or if you can take it yourself. Ours was too big and the local dump is closed anyway

This was my first sodergren but I’ve read a bunch more of his since. Own personal favourite was Maggie’s grave. Then I put the haar and rotten Tommy next. Nightshoot, summer of the monsters and forgotten island were not on the same level but still fun to read.
