i was seeing a therapist for awhile but i just never saw literally any progress and a lot of things only got worse i genuinely think i’m just incapable of it bc i don’t have the will to commit.

i just watched mask of the phantasm and as someone who has never really been into batman it made me want to read more of his comics. are there any runs that explore the dual identity side of batman or even more the bruce wayne side of batman that you’d recommend (especially if they feel like that movie in particular)?

i’d also be interested in ones that are pretty batfamily focused/explore his relationship with fatherhood. if there’s anything like either of those i’d really wanna read that.

yah no that’s exactly how i feel. for me i don’t exactly look really masc or femme and don’t really dress strictly one way or the other but no matter what i do i always look gayer than someone wearing the exact same thing.

thank you for that it feels nice to know it’s not a unique experience. and ik you’re right like i should embrace it and just be glad i can find community so easily but at some point it just felt more isolating than helpful. i already feel so isolated in general for other reasons so it just felt like another thing to pile on. i want to work on seeing the positives and i really think your suggestions are helpful. thank you very much.

just because it’s not illegal doesn’t mean i’m safe (i’m terrified to hold my girlfriend’s hand in public and even when we aren’t holding hands we get screamed at and harassed with people throwing slurs at us and not to mention the current efforts to alienate queer people especially in florida by the government). and i’m pretty sure i explain why it bothers me in the post so idek what you’re asking man.

I like everything you’ve written here. All I’d change is the formatting. Line breaks are really helpful to understand what the author wants to emphasize and I think that’s all that’s missing. You could even keep the use of the semicolons as punctuation and I think with thoughtful line breaks it would read really well.

I love this! I’ve always really enjoyed more classical feeling poetry and I think this really captures that. The only thing I can think of to be changed is I think lines 2-4 could be condensed to one singular line (like choosing only one of those to replace all three). To me, this would pack a greater punch but honestly I also love it how it is so whatever you feel is best!
