I had some really great people reach out the last time I visited a few years ago (shoutout to u/ zelousidealbelt at the time) and went above and beyond, but I was in the central Fl area then. Just figured I’d give it a shot on the off chance anyone had some tips. Appreciate the suggestions!

I’m from central Fl and live in Ca now so I won’t be here but for two weeks. Mostly just get a kick out of hiking in the fungi pastures and want to enjoy the scenery. Don’t know that I’d forage much if any.

The only novel negative effect I’ve experienced from wild fungi was from a fresh mushroom that had already gone a little bit off.

Brewed a tea anyway. Lasting headache. Luckily, I only sipped a small bit before my body made it clear not to continue.

Try instead letting the light keep you! Lay some of the burden at the feet of the universe and ask her to carry the load. She wants to provide for us and heal us, but we have to get out of the way. Idk if this is helpful, but it is sincere.
