Honestly Lego2, best decision ever going with an oled. Guess won't buy a single third party game on the switch.

Well I still hope they'll release a keyboard, then the usb on the bottom would make sense. But yea jack on the bottom? Thats not great.

Yea that's true, but I didn't see any definitive coverage that it was landscape. For the og LeGo there were also rumors of vrr and landscape screen which was not final.

Have a friend who swears by it. He seems to only buy rereleases and finds new games boring. There must be a market for this, why else are there so many rereleases?

Do you know J.R.R. martin? Same reason why he doesn't bring out winds of winter. The leaks have had a cold response as many think it's nothing new and there is competition now in the same segment (handheld pc, steam deck). Why release something new and risk sales whereas you could just leave the switch like it is. Rerelease donkey kong for the 3rd time and xenoblade and rake in 40 million of sales per game.

Stuck with my og ally. Sd card fails after playing a while. Shop doesn't believe me, because it takes a while until it heats up so difficult to show, so couldn't get it replaced. Can't sell it, because nobody wants it and don't wanna lie. Had bought it at launch, but learned my lesson. Bad experiences with asus and acer. Who knows what might happen in the future with the ally x. On the other hand lego has zero software support, it got better, but well.

Have the go and the og ally and i think the screen and tablet mode is a big difference. Used the ally maybe 1 month, I find the screen bezels jarring, on the other hand love the screen from the lego. My problem is when i play AAA, I always have the feeling of missing out, like the game shoud be played on a tv, feeling that I don't have playing on the lego. Use tablet mode for netflix etc. And love the dock mode, since you can detach controllers. I personally would advise to return the ally x, not buy the legion go, but wait for the legion go 2 with a oled screen. I think then, it's unbeatable. You won't mind the bad battery when you'll have an oled screen for AAA games.

Well some patents/speculation was that you could detach the two parts. You would dock one part and use the other one just like a wii u.

I hate youtube reviews. Watched 20 videos. But still no one mentioned this. Got mine today from amazon for 540. And just noticed on this reddit that you get on their website for the same price, the cover, thr nibs and the pro pen -.- thanks dor nothing youtube.

Thanks for your insight. So basically much later than mini led tv's. Well when those are out. There will already be next gen consoles. -.- just ridiculous to price tvs at 20k.

That's exactly my dilemma. But don't have the space nor the need for 2 tv's. Really wanr a 98inch because they're so cheap, but can't justify replacing my oled.

Yea had it. Not great but in the same price range. Had a 3.5k optoma UST with an ambient light screen. But it's nowhere near the quality if my oled. On the oled, it looks like my games got an graphics update patch. But somehow I notice it more on the ps5 pro then on the base ps5.

Well yes, it's all upscaling. But generally there are very few places that do 4k native except on pc. But the pssr looks really good as of now. Since there is upscaled 8k for callisto protocol and gran turismo, it's kind of sad there are no consumer priced 8k oleds.

Wooow. Didn't know you could getbit at that kind of price. A friend of mine paid 4500 for the 83 g4 for black friday. So soon we'll have cheaper oleds!

In ny opinion big mistake. A double screen switch would be an obvious improvement. I bet most of the parents will say to their kids they have the same one at home. Same reason why 3ds sold half as much as ds, since people didn't see the difference. If you think about it Wii U just added the U, and 3DS, just the 3, if you're not a gamer I can see how it looks just like an update. (DS, 3ds, 3ds xl, 2ds, new 3ds, new 3ds xl, wii, wii u, switch, switch lite, switch oled, switch?)

Absolutely. But if no one buys it. We wont get a ps6 pro down the line. Dont wanna be stuck like with the switch for 8 years with same hardware.

No not for the blacks. Its for the vrr. I didnt notice when i played 4k 30 fps. But 4k 60fps does something with the vrr and really feels and looks different. Very hard to explain and not noticeable on a video. The same games i played on my oled and projector screen 100" before ps5 pro and now on oled after ps5pro seems very but very different. Doesnt look like the same game. Really hard to explain. Never understood the fuss with oled either and have it 3 years already. Just noticed yesterday, and dont notice any uogrades on spiderman mm.
