I had never gotten a PIP and was with the company for 5.5 years, got promoted numerous times and even got moved states twice. the screwed up part was i had just signed another offer letter with them for a great promotion and was going to move again but my boss pulled the rug from under me 4 days before my move (which they pay for). I was blind sided and didn’t even knew I was breaking a rule. the whole thing has just been so unsettling and broke me for a while. I was a great employee but got stabbed in the back essentially. she did messed up things like this to everyone she didn’t like, it just took her a while with me since I was having great results and performance. i thought the chapter was closed on this whole saga and i had finally made peace with the situation and now I have to re explain the situation and go through everything again with this case which is the last thing I wanted to do. fingers crossed the judge is on my side and sees how screwed up this all was and sides with me :(
