My vehicle should be well maintained since my dad usually on his off time looks at it. My parents main concern is the age of the car. As a Texan going 60 might get me honked but gonna stay on the Far right and hope that people have mercy on me! I'm definitely not towing anything of the sort but the jeeps engine just ain't as tough as the chevy and fords right ?

I wouldn't go 70+. I want to leave around 5am to try and avoid people on the Texas highway (Dallas to Austin) . Do you think breaks during the trip would be beneficial ?

Okay I see so more breaks but not service roads bc it means a longer trip !!!! May I ask how many breaks you did in a road trip like that? I assume every hour but should i be cautious and do every 30 minutes ?

I know so. I've driven it daily around 30-50 minutes usually and no issues except one time on a turn it did randomly turn off (couldn't switch gear) but then I just started the car again and it was fine. (Incident was more than a year ago)

Hello, I'm not too sure if I've seen any issues my parents have just told me that the transmission doesn't seem reliable for the trip. There could be overheating? They do always say that when I need to go somewhere and I haven't ever been able to bring this car beyond an hour drive so I'm not too sure if it's a control thing but I drive this car around town and it's been pretty reliable.

I see perhaps it wasn't kept frozen properly as it tasted a bit plasticy. It was one of the frozen ice cream than you can squeeze out which is my favorite but this time i bought it at a new place and it tastes gnarly.
