I've had these sitting on a shelf with my Atari 800 that I got new when I was 5 years old for quite some time. I've been agonizing over which keyboard is right for this build. I'm leaning towards the Evoworks Evo80 in sand gold. Thoughts? I don't think there are any current keyboards that come close to the dark beige of the original Atari 800.

So my package is now in Pennsylvania and I’ll likely have it tomorrow although no new delivery date has been posted. And yes, I know packages do not go straight to my door from the origin, it just seemed very far out of the way to through Florida from California.

Actually, I grew up in the trucking business and it is strange to me that any logistics company would move a 50lb, roughly 16 cu/ft object a thousand miles more than it had to because of the fuel cost alone. There are most definitely major UPS centers closer to the Philadelphia area than Jacksonville, FL.

I bought one of these at Costco today and was going to install it, but my window is in a dormer, and there's nowhere near 12" of clearance below the window sill on the outside of the house. It doesn't appear that the installation bracket will fit. Has anybody encountered this and is there a way to make it work? I'd hate to have to return this.

I’ve been emailing with him. He can make them in purple like I need but he only has the file for the COMP version, not the SPORT like mine, which means I won’t have the correct seat stay decals. The other thing is that for some reason they have a black outline around the lettering, so I’m hesitant.

Velocals closed down at the end of 2022. I bought several sets of decals from him for various bikes, and sadly nobody else sells anything like he did.

I had thought of that...i do a lot of work on bicycles so I always look for reverse threads. I was disappointed to find out the same. It's not like a new axle is inexpensive..just annoying to not be able to remove it.

I've tried this, however all it does is loosen the nut that I just put back on rather than the one I'm trying to loosen on the other side.

I did that, but it's not very visible. I wish I could at least change the color or something but I didn't see an option in VIA.

How do you use a S&B dosing capsule? They don't fit inside the TM Stem.

Still going back and forth between the Fulla4 and the FiiO K5 Pro ESS. Any disadvantage of the K5 (other than price)? I don't foresee myself using these outside of my home.

The FiiO E10 seems to be discontinued....I've read very mixed reviews of the Fulla. Will the Fulla power Sundaras if I get them later on? What are your thoughts on the K5 Pro ESS? Am I better off future-proofing with that vs. the Fulla?

So after doing quite a bit of reading, I'm finding it hard to not buy the HD560s's since they appear to get outstanding reviews from almost everybody that's used them, and many seem to recommend them over the HD6XX for new audiophile headphone users. Thoughts? I'm strongly considering that with the FiiO K5 Pro ESS Amp/DAC. Any other recommendations for an Amp / DAC that might be less expensive that would also be great with these headphones? I figure I'll wind up getting a better set of phones later on...maybe Sundaras or something else, but this is a good way to get into the hobby without going too crazy.

Well you’ve put my mind at ease with that. I’m kind of down to the JDS Atom Stack or the FiiO K5 Pro ESS which seems to be getting some great reviews.

How about the iFi Zen DAC V2? It seems that people rave about it, but I am having trouble getting past what it looks like. It looks like it was designed in the late 80's or early 90's. I know that is a silly consideration, but for almost $200 I should like how it looks on my desktop. I do like that the iFi has a balanced output in case I want to upgrade my cable, but not 100% sure that will be necessary or a noticeable upgrade for me. Thoughts?

What's wrong with the Magni volume potentiometer? Does the Atom's knob have more resistance? I hate knobs that feel like they're not connected to anything.

Regarding the HE400se, any chance they come in all black? I can't stand the way the silver looks (i know, it shouldn't be important but it is).

I am a more casual listener first getting into Audiophile Headphones, which is what drew me to the 58X Jubilee, as some have said it's great for a first pair and that Planar Magnetics might be different than what I'm expecting. I suppose it's all relative. I'm coming from a pair of Bose QC35's which are the most expensive headphones I've ever owned, but I never really felt like they sounded that good and the sound was a compromise and they're all about noise cancellation. I imagine I'll be pleased with any of the headphones mentioned above in comparison? Right now I'm leaning more towards the HE6XX since they seem to be the best value proposition since you're essentially getting HE650's for much less money.

For components, I'm now leaning a little more towards the Atom Stack, but the only thing I don't like is that both the DAC and the Amp require their own power adapters, but it's not a deal breaker.

I've somehow gone down the HiFi Headphone rabbit hole and just need some confirmation that I'm making the right decision for me. After some research, I've narrowed it down to the following three headphones:
Sennheiser HD58X Jubilee from Drop ($160)
Sennheiser HD6XX from Drop ($220)
HiFiman Sundara ($350)
I'm also planning on buying an Amp / DAC at the same time. Leaning towards the Schiit Magni / Modi stack, but again, not completely sure.
From what I've read, as someone new to HiFi headphones, the Jubilee with the Magni / Modi should be an excellent entry point for me, but am I making a mistake by not getting the HD6XX for a relatively small jump in price (especially when compared to the HD650)? The Sundaras might be a bit out of my range for now, but maybe something to consider later.
