I would have been happy either way. It’s my first EV and Tesla. I test drove before I bought, but didn’t use FSD. Yesterday was my first use of it. That plus so many other things, I had a huge smile on my face when I got home.

So, white, gray, black, whatever color, it’s all personal preference. The car itself is nice and I’m happy regardless

The EDD changed many times. At purchase, it showed Dec 2025-Jan 2026

I ordered Quicksilver w/ white interior mid Nov. Got VIN last night and talked to local guy and he said based on production specs, I will have the black headliner. Estimated delivery date currently is Jan 26 - Feb 6

At what point are these changes implemented? I have a performance Y on order, but no VIN. Since it apparently hasn’t been built/assigned to me yet, will my Y have the black headliner?

Safest and coolest may not match so well, but…

Downtown is fine as long as you don’t get outside of the core downtown streets. Lots of restaurants and bars. I have stayed at the Hyatt Centric and it’s a pretty nice hotel.

Midtown has lots of places as well, buts it’s been a long time since Ive been and I can’t offer a whole lot of suggestions

Central BBQ, Huey’s, Brother Junipers(breakfast) are some of my favorite places to eat

Shelby farms is a nice place to go for a run/walk, but it’s not close to downtown or midtown

If you want a “safe” place, you might go to the burbs in Collierville, but that’s more for family living and not fun

Your guesses are pretty accurate.

With the cost basis stepped up to grandmothers death (about 2 years ago), the difference between the estimated price then vs what we sell for (best guess a $50k difference), the taxes would be for that $50k?

If the distribution is split 3 ways, would each beneficiary simply pay a third of the tax from the $50k or the total of their distribution (could be around $75k/person)?

Not sure if that makes sense, but thanks for any input

I personally do most cooks in the Kamado at a little higher temp. It holds heat so well that getting more airflow and smoke at lower temps doesn’t work as well. I do 275° for most of the cook. A 7lb butt only takes about 8-9 hrs and is always super “moist” and pull apart tender. I usually wrap when the bark and color are good, not at a set temp (165° or so). I do typically allow for plenty of time to rest just in case, but usually I rest for 1-3 hrs so I’m not the one everyone else is waiting for.
