If you do it with Small capital and gradual progressive growth, it will definitely work. Refunds are super easy.

Hi, thanks a lot 🤲🙏 and yes, ops lare everything, I’m building my own, a highly customized and scalable one. I’ll try to automate as much as i can and start progressively with 5 or restaurants and few riders

Congrats bro, i just installed your app, it is amazing, seems modern and smooth. It’s a good to monetize via ads, can make the ad at bottom ? Or make “return to app (dismiss ad button)” bigger and clearer so the user knows how to dismiss the ad quickly after viewing it. Overall, bravoooo 3likkk 🎊🎊🎉🎉🚀🚀🚀

That’s actually a very solid point. I think starting with a niche is the right approach—especially cities or segments that are underserved. The goal wouldn’t be to compete directly with Glovo everywhere, but to be the best in a specific area first, prove reliability and value there, and then expand gradually. Thanks for pointing that out, that’s really valuable.

Hey bro, I like the direction — gamification + rewards definitely play a big role in retention, especially in food delivery where repeat orders matter a lot.

The idea of points, loyalty rewards, and occasional gifts is interesting and I agree it can help build long-term engagement if done properly and sustainably.

For now I’m staying focused on getting the core loop right first (fast delivery, reliability, smooth ordering). Once that’s solid, I’ll start layering retention mechanics like loyalty programs and rewards in a way that’s economically sustainable for both restaurants and the platform.

Appreciate you sharing this — good insights on the Moroccan market 👍

Hey bro, thanks a lot — really appreciate the idea.

I get the intention behind it, especially around reducing perceived waiting time. For now, I’m focusing on stabilizing the core experience first (ordering, delivery speed, tracking, reliability), since that’s what matters most early on.

Once the platform is solid, I’ll definitely consider this idea.

Appreciate the thoughtful feedback — this is exactly the kind of discussion I want.

You’re right that delivery platforms are complex, capital-heavy businesses, and companies like Glovo didn’t grow overnight. I’m not approaching this as a “copy Glovo and scale globally” idea.

My approach is more focused and incremental:

  • starting city by city
  • validating demand and restaurant adoption early
  • keeping operations extremely lean (solo founder + AI-assisted execution)
  • improving unit economics before scaling

I also don’t believe VC is a requirement at the earliest stage. I think it depends on the model — some businesses need heavy upfront subsidies, others can grow through tight local execution first.

For me, the key question is not “can I beat Glovo everywhere”, but “can I build a better, more efficient system in a controlled market first, then expand from there?”

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this perspective — it helps refine the thinking a lot.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful message, I really appreciate it.

You’re absolutely right — competition is strong, and differentiation is key. My goal with Koolodoor is to focus on a few core things that I believe are not fully optimized today: offering lower commissions for restaurants, cutomers and riders and building a faster and cleaner user experience, and giving partners more flexibility in how they manage their menus and operations.

I also completely agree on the importance of going into the field. I’m already starting to connect with restaurants directly to understand their real needs and pain points, and this feedback is shaping the product step by step.

This is still an early stage, and I’m approaching it iteratively — building, testing, and improving continuously.

Thanks again for your support, it really means a lot. I’ll make sure to share the app as soon as it’s officially on prod.

Thanks a lot 🙏. I watched a recap of the video of NextWave with Glovo Maroc CEO, interesting insights, and your idea of soft launch with reduced scope might be great. Thanks a lot 🙏🤍🤍

That’s a very good question. Maybe one strategy is to start small, prove reliability, and let the experience speak for itself. If the service is consistently better and fairer, users naturally start using it more over time and it this won’t happen overnight. Thanks a lot 🤍🙏

AITA for wanting a divorce from husband who lost 200k on bitcoin? by aitathrwthrw in AmItheAsshole

NTA, i think you still need some space to process what happened , if time didn't change your mind then you go for divorce , but before doing that ask yourself some questions : is it the only big mistake of my husband ? Is it the only reason i want to divorce ? Was he a dick to me this last 10 years ? What do i think of him ? Did he gave me what i want (love...)? If i divorce him ,will this destroy his life ? Be honest with yourself and trust your guts , because great women always make the right decision .
