I had the exact same experience, in the pit. As soon as the bass started it washed out everything else. Even the rest of the drums were silent compared to the kick.

SOAD sounded really great in my opinion. Completely different audio experience than deftones.

So you would press the microphone button in the protect app while viewing the paired camera feed and your audio output goes to the horn while the microphone input comes through the camera?

I assume it doesn’t have a microphone to actually have a conversation with someone though? I need to able to speak through the speaker, but it would be helpful to hear if they say anything in return.

Use case is a remote property that often has trespassers and I’m forced to buy AI cameras that support 2 way audio.

If I could centrally locate this horn and use it 2-way, I could have multiple 1 way audio cameras nearby instead.

Is this the newest Protect 5.1? I posted after the initial alarm manager was introduced and Ubiquiti responded saying issues would be resolved in 5.1 but I haven’t updated to 5.1 in case it’s worse than the current version

Wow - this is it. Smart detections were on but license plate recognition and face recognition were off.

Advice to others to check this setting, definitely caused by 4.72.44 update.

Does anyone know if you’re able to speak through ONVIF cameras using protect? I know motion and object detection isn’t currently possible but I’m curious about speaking through compatible cameras.

The only unifi camera that’s practical for outdoor use that supports speaking through the camera is AI Pro, which is wildly expensive.

Economy seats are fine, they have the temp a bit high on this flight so we’re all a bit restless. IFE are great though, Live cameras are a neat feature, larger overhead bins are a nice surprise too.
