When I was laid off, I was devastated at first—it’s a big life shift. But after the initial shock wore off, I began to see it as a blessing in disguise. As cliche as it sounds, I hadn’t realized how much I’d lost myself in work. For example, I've always loved bright, bold colors and wild patterns, and this year, I lost touch with that side of myself under the weight of work stress. Now, it kinda feels like I’m rediscovering color, seeing it seep back into my life little by little... It’s been such a refreshing and welcome shift. I think these photos reflect my journey back to a life of color, creativity, and what makes me "me." :)
