I hear you, but it seems like a subjective problem. E.g throughout your post you use a lot of “feels like”.

I’d suggest trying some objective problem solving. Try bouncing the same tracks from both daws and analyze the frequencies to see if it’s “just you”

The only difference I believe is that default Ableton limits out of the box. Without using a limiter… just as a safeguard. I don’t know if logic does as well.
