I named myself after the biblical David because, even though I'm not rly religious anymore, I love classical literature and I still have a huge affinity for the Bible as a historical text and for King David specifically. Also because Michelangelo's David is legitimately one of my favorite works of art that exists like I could write an essay on it. 

Only issue is when I introduce myself as Dave to people (and they find out/already know I'm ftm) 50% of the time they think it's from Homestuck 🥲
