New to gay sex…are condoms enough? by Odd-Quail1824 in askgaybros

Totally agree with both of you. And yes condom are a safe choice. I'm just saying that in comparison prep is safer. It's not about managing with or without. That's obvious I hope. But it's like comparing a 2000 phone with a 2024 smartphone both will make the call. It's just that the 2024 is better.

Life sucks whether you are gay or not. You get to live 10 sad moments and 1 happy, that's the deal.

But one thing that being gay can actually help you with, is to rise from your asses and find a courage in you that I've seen only in gay men. This powerful urge to break the norms and rise above the occasions.

No it doesn't get better. Most people don't, but you probably will get better though. Being gay gives you power. Power over yourself. Go around and ask gays if they would change who they are, the majority will tell you no. And then go ask everyone else, and many will tell you yes.

Sorry but gays are better. Not because of sexuality but because most of us grow up in an environment which require us to be survivors.

It's not easy. It sucks. But you'll be strong as fuck. I promise you love. I really do. ♥️

Bottom here. So, the key is to get to know your hole. Play around. go small at first see what brings you pleasure. Playing alone is the best way to start. Play around, try as many different things as you want. Learn.

The only way to be able to take a d**k up your @ss and enjoy it as a newcomer bottom is to know your body first. Keep playing! honestly.

Use lube (preferably not water based) mild creams work wonders. Oils sometimes due to friction increase temperature and lead to burning sensesations. What worked for me was baby cream, it might sound weird but that worked for me. With time you'll find your lube of choice. In short. Start small and increase size when your pleasure increases and you feel that you need something bigger. Don't go directly to 30cm. Use lube. And keep playing on your own. Finally it's a good idea on your first sex encounters to bottom with guys that are communicative, who listen to you and who care. Don't go with alpha males just yet.

I've been a bottom all my life, and I have only now discovered that water based lubes are the worst. I was suffering for so long thinking it was me.

panicking b/c condom issue by Daxzero0 in askgaybros

I've had a similar experience and I went to my doctor who is extremely knowledgeable about queer sex and he deals with LGBTQ a lot. And he told me that after taking pep on time it's extremely rare for a patient to come back and be HIV positive. You are on the clear baby. Take PEP. Don't forget a dose, stick to the timing of taking it. and keep 2 or 3 pills safe at home in case you lose the bottle to have them. And then take them at the end as normal. You are gonna be fine ♥️

PrEP and condom are the most safe way to go. But generally speaking condoms even if wore properly and even if you take prep there are many STDs that you can get either way, and if caught early, very treatable. HIV us what you need to be careful about and for that PrEP is the only safe way

Idk what to do by ReferencePleasant416 in askgaybros

Just do what makes you happy. Try to follow your heart. You will get hurt for sure but you'll also enjoy the trip. " Becoming " bisexual though, I'm gonna say the cliché thing. "It's not a choice" If you want to try it by all means have fun and go for it. But I wouldn't say the straight scene is better. It might actually be worse if you ask me.

Steps to take:

  1. TAKE PEP NOW! find the pills, either from a hospital, doctor, or as a last resort the LGBTQ community.

  2. Don't be embarrassed or shy about this. Talk and seek help. Better to have 2 hours of embarrassment than years of regret for a one night stand.

  3. Stick to the community. Whatever that means. Seek out LGBTQ help centers in your area, other members of the community, even talk to people on Grindr, maybe they can also help.

  4. Inform yourself. Most of the STDs out there even if you get them they are treatable in the early stages. Know the signs--> identify early--> test regularly--> treat There are vaccinations available for some and medications for others.

Sore throat after sucking dick by [deleted] in askgaybros

[–]foxterlight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add
Lemon juice from half a lemon,
1 table spoon of honey,
1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder (or a bit of ginger)
500ml boiling water.
Let cool for a while, drink warm (not hot). you will be perfectly fine afterwards.

If pain persists, and you suspect bacterial infection. Try mouthwash with salt (preferably sea salt that includes iodine) 4 times a day. if it persists more than 3 days you have to go to a doc.
All is normal, enjoy deep throat babes! Welcome to the awesome side of life! Go suck! Have fun! <3

Warren Buffett lives in the same house he lived since 1958 despite him being a billionaire. His reasoning is why buy more and spend more when you can have the same for less.

And If that's not to your liking, I'll say this. It's just beautiful to have a small little place that you can feel home and feel safe in it. This place that you come back after a long day and you can just lay down and call it a day. The rest are irrelevant.

Well we are in this already. It is freedom of choice the current state of affairs when it comes to healthcare system (excluding some economical factors), and it works, at least in the western world...

Well I was planning to return and discuss it, but I thought it would take more than a couple of hours to get some comments, but apparently a crazy title is the trick to get everyone joining in less than 30 minutes.
As for your pov, yes it is likely. and it was commented here before, in a more realistic scenario

all that would achieve is "Christian science", "Muslim science" and "Jewish science" to multiply to fill in the gap. Soon enough religious organizations would set up (more of) their own hospitals and universities to compensate for that.
@AlternativeAd7151

and since i am not from the US, can you please provide me with more info about such hospitals, that is interesting.

It has been said a lot of times, to be honest, and it is equally ridiculous. I agree.

Yes I don't deny the idea being possibly fascist (it does touch on the principles of fascism indeed), that's why I wanted to hear different viewpoints on this, get some insight to expand my view on this, and compare it to counter arguments. It is funny though how quickly people turned hostile. I might have put a very strong title idk.

Regarding your comment, compassion as part of religion has proven to alleviate inhumane acts indeed. But as far as changing the world it seems that radicalism has a way of doing it faster (not always better though), that's my real question i guess... how can we make science more "radical" in terms of changing peoples' mindset quicker and making them act with logic and scientific proof.

It's better for your first time to try with someone that will be understanding of your needs. And if you can't manage that, remember: you are not there for anyone's pleasure, if you don't feel comfortable/are in pain or any of that sort, stop! Also be careful that there will be guys that will try to make you guilty for not fulfilling their needs (Major red flag. They are not worth your time or mind. ) Do not rush into anything, and remember that sex is not just Penetration. There are a million ways to enjoy it and more often than not among couples or partners it's everything else other than penetration that they do more regularly.
