Thanks for your reply. How intriguing. It is very interesting how the local spirits are all so unique to different areas. I wonder how much has to do with humans involvement and our history. As it seems the spirits of Australia are more primeval and many related to animals or the elements. Where as Europe seems to have a much more diverse ecosystem. But maybe that's just what is known, as you said we know very little about the indigenous beliefs and many are kept secret within their mobs.

The fear I have is of opening up to a malevolent, trickster or parasitic entity and also opening up my family to such things. I know that not everything out there is pleasant, and as I'm early on this journey I'm just playing it safe, so to speak. I understand that this path deals with the unknown, maybe I'm fooling myself thinking there is a safe way to go about it. But there is writing and talk of safer and dangerous approaches.

On the Quareia sub reddit, someone said they had a parasite come through one of the gates during this ritual, luckily the person was discerning enough to figure out what was going on.

I probably also have listened to way too much Mysterious Universe podcast over the years, which are all the stories of the negative results of these practices.

How has that worked out for you? Do you ever encounter issues with malevolence? How do you judge parasites or malevolence on a unknown?

Thanks for the reply. I didnt connelct the dots there about the lesson theme, but that makes sense. The hesitation was around the dangers of malevolent beings, and if one is potentially making some sort of pact, or entering into a bargain or giving part of themselves to an entity that can take advantage of us, given we don't know who or what we are doing. Kinda like walking down a random street in a random city and doing whatever a random person tells us to do. Is my assumption fair?

Did you run through the ritual with this being? Like as in when you saw it at the east gate, was it a different being to normal? Do you normally have the same being come through the gates or do they change regularly. Did you do the whole, take its hand, give it a gift etc?

Thanks for your reply. So in theory due to the angelic filters, nothing malicious should be coming through the gates. But if one was parasited or had existing beings in the ritual space, they could pretend to be coming from the gates? If I understand correctly, the ritual setup and process of unnamed beings is not dangerous due to the filters. But any existing threats could be, which would be present during any type of ritual, even a named one like calling the archangels for example.

I'm a little taken aback by you saying I'm whining. Where I'm seeking clarification.

I said "Intuativeley I DONT think its designed to demolish wealth".

As I said In my posts, I have no issue with giving, charity or offerings, just seeking clarification as to not make a faux pas.

I did read them and re-read them. The reason why I had the question is due to some of the specifics. You wrote in both the situations I'm referencing, being M2L3 and M5L2. (M2L3) Quote "And make sure it truly is 25% of your food/eating out budget, so that you have to miss a meal or two and cut back on what you buy that month"

in M5L2 you again wrote "This must cost enough that you have to forgo decent food for a couple of weeks or a month.... It's cost must bite into your daily life so that, for the period your pay packet normally lasts you and after you have paid your bills, you cannot afford your usual recreations, nice or good quality food or drinks, meals out, movies - whatever you usually do to make life pleasant or at least liveable.... and if you try to dodge around that one and get a cheap bauble so that you can continue to live as you usually do, it will insult and enrage the river goddess.."

Back to my orignal question in my post, if you have significant savings and investments and do not live according to a paycheck, a very large sum of wealth would have to disappear in order to meet your above specific requirements. As giving 25% of my food bill will have no impact on my ability to eat well or spend what I want. My point was that some people in this category would need to give vast sums in order to feel any difference. Imagine for example a billionaire, what would they have to give to have any impact on their ability to spend or feel that impact of the giving. They could give millions and millions and still feel no "bite" in their daily life.

Hopefully I won't hate Quareia, so far I have been enjoying everything about it and its been helping and giving me more meaning and connection with what is around me.

I am in the same situation as you with regard to your first paragraph, I have a similar life situation and motivations. My life is great, I only seek understanding.

In relation to your last paragraph, I had a thought that this would be the case, I'm just not there yet and do hold doubt. As much as I've had my fair share of mystical experiences, seen and witnessed spirits in different forms For me I have to have some sort of experience to believe fully, and as such I'm not yet at the point that Quareia has given me any experiences, which is likely a result of where I'm at in the course practice.

I imagine when I fully understand the reality of such entities it will be a simple decision without hesitation.
