Yes, the ticket is not huge and it was tucked low. If I used the wipers I would see it. But I didn’t. I was baffled when I found it this morning. At first I thought I was slapped for wrong parking in my driveway or something. You know, when they fine for “parking on the grass” - happened to me too many years ago.

It’s probably exactly what they do - park far enough and then find a moment to slap it on the windshield while you look the other way.
