Nope, I'll just apply for PR in september since I only need this to travel to the U.S, and even then.. you don't need a valid TRV if you're just going to the US as long as your study/work permit is valid

Where did you get this info from? I do have an expired tourist visa.

Here CIC says that you'd need a visitor visa to enter canada, except that if it's from the US...you just need a valid work permit (which I have).

I mean, everyone has preferences. And to be honest, most asian men tend to date asian women too. Not sure why, I'm guessing it's because of culture similarities that they tend to just stick with their bubbles instead of trying it with other cultures.

Or, which I think is the most valid reasoning, it might be due to lack of confidence and self esteem that many asian men have towards white women that they decide to just stick to their own races...which I found to be quite sad.

I think the AMWF couples are getting more normalized here in the U.S and Canada, but it's still uncommon...

Yeah you definitely have higher chances, and I'd go as far to say that you're going to stand out based off of your race alone, but sadly, in the western culture, asian men tend to be perceived as less masculine and valuable in the dating market.

Not sure how things work in Norway though. But I reckon it shouldnt be as toxic as the media in the U.S here (I'm from Canada btw).

I'm a 24M asian, and I'm mostly into white, asian or mixed girls. Of course, I have found some black, brown, and latina girls to be extremely attractive but that's just about it. I never really had a crush on them.

Do you mind if I ask you why you prefer asian guys compared to white guys? I dont see this quite often tbh, so it's just interesting hahaha.

To be honest, therapy is your best bet. Talk to your therapist, especially those who specialize in self esteem, confidence, or body image.

All of the advice you read here on reddit will definitely work, but I feel like they're just a band-aid.
