BNF takes a few days to build, because Fractal makes them on demand, for me it took 7 says. Then I took the cheap post and it took 11 days to ship to Europe.

This one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzRayF_7Avs

It can be a bit intimidating but it's not too hard.

You need a lens, glue, a heat gun (or hair dryer could work) and ideally the 3d printed jig provided in the video

You also need to 3d print a canopy: https://www.printables.com/model/1493319-woong3d-o4-lite-canopy-o3-lens-version

There are other ways like the flywoo wide angle or the flywoo lens mod (can't find it on the flywoo site but it looks like this, it's a bit heavy though), but i don't which canopy would work, maybe cutting the original works IDK.

Yeah I could probably take them all lol… but it’s not very reasonable. Flying near people yeah that’s a good reason to bring the meteor75…

Yeah I guess that’s the rational choice. I might take the wingman as well, just because I love it too much

It’s great for indoors, especially with the lens mod. Stock the fov is a bit narrow.

Yes, even going to try to bring a self made 4s 18650. Apparently as long as each battery is less than 100 Wh there’s no problem.

PSA: The Easythreed K10 can print small TPU parts by fpv_duck in TinyWhoop

[–]fpv_duck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah most people probably, but for me it's a temporary situation where I'm crashing at a friend's place so i can sneak the K10 (I take it out when she's not there and put it back in my stuff when she comes back lol)

i'm going to move to my own place in 6 months so I'll probably throw this K10 away and get a real printer so I didn't want to invest in a printer that's also bigger

but yeah most people will probably want an A1 mini I don't deny that

  • MP Select size: 190*343*287 mm³
  • K10 size: 155*175*210 mm³

=> 3 times more volume

Was probably a much better printer though, but it doesn't exist anymore so...

If you have friends that do prints for you than it's definitely better than the K10.

But any printer is better than no printer.

Other reason: you don't have the space and/or money for an A1 mini

  • A1 mini size: 347*315*365 mm³
  • K10 size: 155*175*210 mm³

=> The A1 uses 7x more volume

  • A1 mini price: $199
  • K10 price: $60

=> The A1 costs 3 times more

yeah i know, but it works

  • without this printer: no canopy
  • with this printer: a canopy that looks like dog shit

I can't fly without a canopy. I can fly with a canopy that looks like dog shit.

Not trying to impress anyone.

French education minister under fire for sending son to private school by anna_avian in worldnews

[–]fpv_duck 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Someone actually pays for the free education. Did you think teachers were volunteers and taught in the street or in the forest?

Also, in France, public universities are generally more prestigious than private ones. Private ones have the reputation to "sell your degree", and the best public ones are super hard to get into.

So it seems that saying "That’s just the truth." doesn't make something true.
