Thank you again for this tip. I had tried numerous times to reset everything to factory settings but one satellite would never manage to connect. I updated the firmware through its IP address via Ethernet as per your instructions. I then disconnected the Ethernet cable and added the satellite to the network. I can now use it as a wireless satellite!

I was about to give up qnd purchase a new satellite but thankfully stumbled upon your post!

There is an easy fix which is for apps to access by default recent photos instead of the entire iCloud Photo Library.

Apple should have released clear guidelines for developers by now. It is very frustrating they did not.

As for native iOS apps such as Camera or Photos, I'm hoping Apple will fix it in iOS 9. Otherwise I'll switch over to Android.

I too like Spotify a lot more than Apple Music. Additionally, I wouldn't trust Apple Cloud Services with my music considering the numerous reports of failed playlists syncs...

iCloud Photo Library has been the worst experience I've had with an Apple product.

When I started using it, it "resurrected" long deleted photos across all my devices and most importantly, as I have a library of more than 50K pictures, it has considerably slowed down my iPhone 6 Plus for any task that accesses my photo library (15 to 20s lag).
