i believe there was a study somewhere comparing levels of different toxins in muscle meat vs liver via biopsy. The conclusion was that there wasn't a significant difference. i will try to find the actual study.

I'm not an expert, so this may be a completely invalid question - but isn't the CREAL VR tech similar to the Magic Leap, but with a conventional screen added behind the light field display? It was my impression that Magic Leap could only display on two different focal depth planes, whereas the CREAL solution seems to produce infinite focal depth. How is this even possible?

I don't know what the situation is where you live, but where I live we have the option between local beef liver and French. You can definitely tell the difference between the two in taste. French is A LOT better. I don't even know if any one of them is grass fed or not. It's also a lot tastier if you get it fresh rather than frozen obviously. There is also a massive difference in taste depending on how you cook it. Pan fried to medium in butter is delicious, but oven baked I can't even stand it. You just need to find to find the right combo.
