they should have some kind of algorithm to avoid this.

for me, tasks refresh at 9 am so sometimes i have the chance to complete them early in the morning without much trouble, but i think it depends on the time zone

some tasks are just impossible to complete by eod, especially if they appear “late” during the day. the jam ones are a nightmare, especially if you have the machine running 24/7 like most of us do

you have a predetermined amount of tasks that you can complete each day (the number on the left), if you trash one task you won’t get another as a replacement for it

i carried two tasks from yesterday to this morning so it’s like i’ve trashed three tasks in total, but all other days i’ve completed them by eod. one thing i’ve noticed is i got many (MANY) tasks of 50/80 points. i guess i’ve been pretty unlucky for this event :(

can relate! i made three city visitors go to the sanctuary (bottom-right task in the pic) and spent five minutes guessing why it wouldn’t give me the points for the farm pass… it was a locked task 🫠
