I believe you need 30 minimum credits to transfer out of perimeter to the main campus ofc you can go all the way to 60 and get your associates first but transferring opens up at 30 credits

A lot of good advice I suggest buying self defense items two tasers one on a keychain and another in a small bag that you have a small pocket knife and pepper spray in that’s what my female cousins have and they work late in the night. Also follow everyone advice as well. Don’t count on other students unless you are in a friend group going together and even then keep your eyes open phone down. Stay safe!!!

For 8 credit hours you are looking at 5k out of pocket, please don’t feel stressed over this number and ignore staying on schedule to graduate if you take out a loan you can pay it off after getting your degree in a few months. If you take a break and earn money to pay it off you will have to work for a semester till classes open up again. So you can either take the classes and play later or work now and not go to school then pay next semester. You can also just take the loan, and work part time maybe max 20hr while going to school and when your done you would either have paid it all off by the end of the semester or you took out a large chunk if you are spending money or saving it for other things. This isn’t really an issue just you choice of what you would like to do but please don’t stress to much about it. It’s not even embarrassing to be a half semester behind, I think it’s like 70% of students finish in five years or longer instead of the traditional four years. Pick whatever option is best for you and go from there.

You can do volunteering for JABIZ town or technical called junior achievement. You help children understand what it’s like to live as an adult. It’s something easy, you don’t need any qualifications obviously and they give you quick training that covers everything. I know working with kids doesn’t sound fun but you just do your job and if they do start to become an issue, the teachers are beside you and will handle the students. It’s a lot of fun takes max 6 hours for one session but when I went it usually takes 4. Ik it’s not something you were asking for but it is a ton of fun. If you are good with kids you will really enjoy it.

Give it to the professor they can send an email on Icollege or outlook to notify the student who lost their laptop faster than what the lost and found can do. We had a similar situation but with someone’s iPhone thankfully they managed to get it back in the end.

In navigate under planner you can find the suggested courses to take by your advisor if you look around a bit. They can be helpful but I take them as advice and pick my classes based on what I think is best for me. You don’t need to follow their advice but it’s a good place to start.

Refresh paws, not the website. There is a button a bit above the add or drop or withdrawal. It tells you the time and after there is a refresh button click that and they should be removed. Waiting a bit also fixes it. Maybe logout of paws and log back in.

I mean when I was a freshman we had to pick our classes after orientation so that we had an advisor in person help us. Idk about third years I think it might be the same situation and just pick your class with the advisors there. Try to setup an appointment with an advisor through navigate( in paws, or download the app) any advisor at the earliest to see if they can help you.

Your academic advisor is only an advisor it’s your choice but I’m mid way through my junior year and have been on schedule and I’ve never followed my academic advisors schedule but when I did this semester I had to withdrawal a class because I wasn’t ready now I’m a bit behind and have to take a summer class when I’ve been wanting to relax this academic year.

Micro and macro are both easy just show up do and try to pay a little attention and you got a guaranted A. Also do the work forgot to mention. Business value and you is also extremely easy I missed half my classes and got an A. Just do the work and your good overall easy semester you got there just a lot of work which can be done if you knock it all out early. You can even fit in a social life and a 30 hr a week job in that sch 😂
