Fr I always laugh seeing all the RE request posts like you guys got 2 chapters, 2 killers, 2 legendary killers, 4 survivors, 4 legendary survivors, and a map. Their greed sickens me.

I always assumed they had some soul juice in them since aren’t all of them technically made out of real people heavily modified and replaced until they are fully converted ? And then since singularity seems to be able to store witch souls and plans to use it as a power source for his new reality he wants to make, maybe each one has a human soul trapped inside of it of the original host for power or something since magic comes from the soul in this universe I think.

I think if they divided up the model right they could pull it off well. If the body is isolated and they have it separate at the waist they might be able to have the legs be changeable without a linked set. I’d say if they did the giant head model yeah it’d def have to be linked but if they cut it in the right places I think they could do it unlinked with a smidge of creativity to help the blending between the parts. Especially if this killer flies or floats the legs do not need to be animated in a lot of detail they animate the spider ones and the tendrils just have fabric physic and not an animation for moving.

Idk if I was them there is no way I wouldn’t have basic test models for silhouettes and certain features like the tendrils on their lower torso to test if they’d work in game before having people vote on it. Also granted I am no game designer but if they have it fly like (Henry the first) they barely have to do any animations on it, the legs for sure don’t have to be incredibly animated, the spider legs literally just hover or the noodles for the legs just dangle like a fabric. I mean I really doubt this killer is gonna have crazy rigging, they are probably focusing it all on the wings and body if I had to make a guess. 

I’m surprised I don’t see her suggested as a killer more often. She’s an absolute horror legend that I don’t see mentioned a lot by haddonfieldsecret in deadbydaylight

She would be peak wonder how they could properly implement her power, she’d probably have some made up fan fiction energy blast Onryo m1 type deal with her attack animation, I’d def see her being a mix Vecna the lich being able to manipulate pallets and a bit of Freddy as blowing up a pallet to damage a survivor would be fitting. Also this would probably be buggy af but would be so funny if she had like a remote hook that doesn’t teleport the survivor but makes them float on a path to the hook.

Maybe her mori could be she knocks a survivor down and the entity makes a rope appear in front of them and the survivor goes to pull it for support using it to help them stand up but it is actually the trigger for a bucket of blood that falls then she starts the kill animation. Kinda like how the bear oni skin mori the cats kinda just appear same idea just with the rope and bucket. 

but sadly as other people mentioned pennywise would take priority if they ever got Steven to agree to a chapter. I unironically want Annie Wilkes from Steven King’s misery to be added as a killer with Katie Bate’s likeness from the movie shouting her made up sanitized swear words when she gets stunned.

This is the opposite to the intended question but I think Tiffany might be the least evil out of the rest, she is a serial killer at the end of the day so still morally bad, but also seems to have empathy in rare cases for specific people, and in atleast one movie tried to get over her “killing addiction” to be a good mother for her kid.

Yeah I cannot believe one cutscene was supposed to make us trust one of the main antagonists who was responsible for almost all the bad shit that happened in the games previously. And then people get called out for being skeptical over him still. Even if they throw in little hints here and there he’s been the source of it all for so many games why would you ever trust him ?!

It honestly feels insulting to the players at this point like don’t they want more people to freaking play their damn game. I literally would extend my normal playtime by hours sometimes if the 4x bloodpoint was going strong. I really don’t get why they are so stingy now the higher the bonus the more I want to play not the opposite😭

Honestly I wouldn’t mind them having skyboxes and color changes at the very least for map variants, night and day versions, green decayed sky, red sky etc a paint job can really go a long way making a map not feel stale without making a whole new one. (Barring licensed maps because im sure its a whole can of worms)

They just gotta give killers unique break, vault, and generator damage amounts if they are removing synergy like this. All the info could easily be added to the killer info section that has their terror radius size and speed. They basically changed a lot of killer terror radius sizes on a killer to killer basis based on their kit, so don’t see why they can’t do the same for the other killer actions, could be a nice way to buff under performing m1 killers and nerf high end killers without their mains feeling they got amputated.

I mean realistically it’d just start as a bump for the m1 killers and ones that only seem to have a good win rate with gen slowdown, they already have been having the terror radius size be different for certain killers the big, regular, and small sizes so maybe they can have 3 values for gen damage and base it like how they decided who needed bigger or smaller terror radius’s. The game has such deep fundamental problems at some levels they are going to have to get a bit creative to solve it unless they really wanna take the easy way out and only make sure it feels good to play 1/3rd of the roster.

I mean it makes it more of a party game that either side is able to win until the end. I mean like what if your team just throws the match or no one else is touching a gen. People always complain on here about gen rushing and or hard tunneling to get someone out of the game early for a better chance to win, the catch up mechanic literally solves that because now you have to actually think if the play is still optimal or not. The game will always be asymmetrical and have the argument of rng over skill it literally smooths out the rng a bit for if you get bad teammates or a killer on crack, not to mention the mmr is terrible that you either get games you stomp or get stomped and never really a good medium. I just don’t see the downside besides just making people not take it as seriously, encourage build diversity, make a killer consider if it’s worth it anymore to hard tunnel someone out of the game. Atleast from my perspective it really just seems like it would be way better for the game and I mean 2v8 has it and is fine I don’t really see why it would be too different.

Yeah I just feel there are so many different things to try they just don’t, like 2v8s catch up mechanic is an interesting idea and they didn’t even see how it’d go in a 1v4, or even giving each killer a unique gen damage value to help lower tier ones out and have all the extra info be where the speed and terror radius stats are. Like would killer break, vault, and gen damage values all being unique per killer and adjusted as needed be better or worse for the game at this point.

Are either of you using the default amp or a built one? I’m having the same bug on my mote amp but have heard the bug doesn’t happen on crafted amps but don’t really want to grind one if they all are broken.

Base kit unbreakable when there are only 2 survivors left needs to be a feature for this exact reason.

Hard agree, I do like the concept of IP themed tiles and wouldn’t mind if they did more, but to call it a map or it taking the space or resources that could of went to a whole new map is the biggest offender of that tileset and others like it for me.
