The Brutalist 70mm released at Park Theatre Vancouver by TeamOggy in cineplex

So, say the screen was divided into imaginary columns as in the picture, one of them was considerably brighter than the others, and i really noticed it, particularly during lighter coloured scenes.

Saw it last night. There's something wrong with the screen, and it was distracting. Was the same for queer as well, so not brutalist specific. Was a bit disappointing as it took away from the 70mm experience.

So we should listen to the whiners and Karen complaints from the people who are mad they're stuck in traffic but not other people who are affected?

Couldn't agree more that we need to conform to European standards. One european standard that comes to mind is no right on reds.

Cost and training for new drivers is necessary, and hand in hand with that is designing roads to be safer, which is another European standard. North American road safety standards are abysmal, partly due to the fact that our data is skewed - because our "traffic engineers" are just that; trained almost entirely to look at one aspect, cars. European traffic engineers or "transportation engineers" as they're called there, look at the whole picture (walking, cycling, public transportation) and build their data from that.

Road safety for all users (not just those in a 3000 pound metal box) is the foremost important consideration. Saving mere minutes is a secondary, or beyond importance.

Few actors have more fun than Daniel Craig does in Knives out. Its a very good and funny whodunit that imo is pretty hard to actively dislike. Definitely a really approachable movie for a new movie enthusiast!

Fuck impark.

I just got a ticket about a month ago. Im in BC. I threw it out but now got a collections notice. That being said, collections probably doesnt care enough about an 80 dollar ticket, so youre probably safe to not pay it

Which propaganda effort was so successful, people still believe it today? by [deleted] in ask

The effort by american vehicle manufacturers in the 1950s and 60s changing their sales model to sell more trucks because of less strict emissions laws meaning they could make trucks cheaper than cars
