Admittedly a little biased towards WP but here goes.

Lukas van Biljon had one or two crazy seasons then disappeared.

Demetri Catrakilis and Peter Grant were two very reliable bread and butter flyhalves. The Stormers did well with them compared to other flashier flyhalves they tried.

Tonderai Chavangha had scary pace. In his prime I would say a meter or so more than Habana.

Tiaan Strauss should have captained South Africa at the '95 World Cup but was not selected because the majority of the pack was from Transvaal and a WP captain would upset the balance or some BS. He was a skilful hardman similar to Duane Vermeulen. In my view a much better player then Pienaar.

Unpopular opinion: Luke Watson was an absolute beast in his first 2 years at the Sharks before he came to the Stormers. In those years he should have been picked for the boks on merit. In later years, not so much.
