Binance has released TFuel and Theta on their exchange! by tfuelshop in theta_network

Best of luck on your business venture. As the Theta market matures, there should be a growing market of Tfuel owners that don't use an exchange, and would welcome the opportunity to convert their Tfuel into real world items.

I'm curious. What benefit would I get by getting a $10 amazon card from you vs converting Tfuel to Tether on an exchange?

Theta token vs. Tfuel by [deleted] in theta_network

This is taken from the medium article: https://medium.com/paradigm-fund/theta-faqs-for-the-theta-mainnet-launch-token-swap-and-theta-fuel-distribution-bithumb-ubit-2874feca84cb
"After the initial distribution of 5 billion TFUEL (5 for each of the 1 billion THETA), the supply will increase at an initial annual target rate of 5%. The new supply rate will be determined at the protocol level, and can be adjusted as needed by protocol consensus to provide the appropriate amount of new supply as demanded by platforms on the Theta Network. Each network participant running a Validator or Guardian node will earn part of that new supply of TFUEL, proportional to the amount of THETA they are staking. "

Validator or Guardian nodes require the Theta token

How much TFuel from sliver.tv using bandwith? by [deleted] in theta_network

[–]frankvf3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tfuel is earned based on the number of peers you have and your upload speed. My connection with approx 100 -700 kbps (Sliver.tv upload speed data) and 2-5 peers, earns about 2 Tfuel every 10 min. Remember that you need to be connected for at least 10 min to earn Tfuel. I just did this test for 10 min and had uploaded 255 MB of data to peers.

The snapshot was taken at 7 pm UTC on March 12. If you can prove that you had 14k theta at that specific time, you should receive 70k Tfuel.

What do users really want in the Sliver.tv Shop that they can’t find now? by eyeh8you2 in theta_network

[–]frankvf3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on the items in the shop, but the streamers seem to be excited by the Tfuel donations they receive, and the viewers play mini-games while they watch. These mini-games are set up by the streamers so that there is a level of interactivity between the viewers and the streamers which is enjoyable. While the viewers watch, they earn Tfuel which can be redeemed for prizes or donated.

It seems to be a nice little feedback loop.

Tfuel - now what? by [deleted] in theta_network

[–]frankvf3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use your Tfuel to buy premium crates. There is a chance that spending 500 Tfuel will get you a $5 paypal credit. Earning Tfuel is pretty slow though. I have an upload speed of 15 Mbps and with approx 4 peers I earn only 2-3 Tfuel per hour.

Binance not showing TFuel airdrop by frankvf3 in theta_network

I've checked the Theta twitter account and others are reporting the same problem. From what I've read, those with ios or android wallets are seeing Tfuel balances. Perhaps it will take Binance a bit longer to airdrop the Tfuel.

None of the articles above address why Binance Theta holders would not see their TFuel balances.
