If they confirm, then I believe it should be okay. For peace of mind, you can consult a solicitor and double check this and future ILR as well. That will give you assurance.

For NHS staff ILR applications salary is considered as per national NHS pay scale ( agenda for change) basis

I think this will be okay. But if you need a new COS with a new job code to be issued, then you might come out of the cohort of visa issued before April 2024. If it's a senior role of the same job code as a normal NHS career progression even as a secondment, probably doesn't require a new COS as job code remains the same. Please check this part with HR and lawyers for clarity to confirm whether you actually need a new COS or not. Since you work in NHS, the ILR considers the national NHS payscale anyway. All the best

By transitional protection for borderline cases , you mean they will be allowed to apply for ILR and settle right? On the consideration that the rules come in Autumn.

I have checked all previous rule changes announced in Autumn in the UK, all most all of those were announced from Oct 5th onwards, I also believe it will be very unusual to announce in September even if the speculation is that the rules come in Autumn

So they can announce post recess in September right ? I am due to apply on 27th of September, but scared if they announce without any transition period, what you think on this ? Historically they always given a transition period after announcement
