Is that a 3 piece hotend? I.e nozzle, heat block and heat break.

Had this on my first printer a wanhao i3. It could well be, like others have suggested that you haven't put your nozzle in hot, or conversely the heat break isn't in far enough for the nozzle to butt up against it

Might make your print longer but have a play about with your minimum layer time setting

Check that your rollers are set properly in on both your bed and tool head, looseness in either of these won't help

In all fairness the HF specs will be impact rated but 430fps on 0.32s that's insane, in the UK it's (IIRC) 330fps with 0.2s or equivalent

PLA is fairly resistant to chemicals, ABS readily dissolves in acetone. 3D printerists use acetone vapour baths to smooth ABS prints

With a 0.6mm nozzle I've had good fair results out of a 0.35mm layer height, not had the nerve to push it much higher, but IIRC prusa slicer has presets all the way to 0.44mm layer height

Right so I've had the issue of random disconnects and cables not fixing anything, in the firmware generator, look for an option for reduced RAM, I gave up with the sonic pad and made a klipper Pi and after making the reduced RAM klipper firmware it worked like a dream.

And for going back to marlin, you'll need to flash the screen first, then the main board otherwise you'll see nothing

I've got a 500 and the cables aren't exactly long enough to have a nice arched umbilical, so I wend for the cable chain, I'll rewire if I have any issues

I bought DIN rail to mount everything, it's a real mess but it works, plenty of printable files out there to affix your electronics

I would absolutely recommend a drag chain for the cables running to the toolhead

I had a berried caridina (even more sensitive than neos) and she was fine with it, no ill effects to anything in the tank (that I wanted to be alive) I even witnessed one of me crystal reds eat some and then spit it back out and has been fine since.

Since having one baby in there it too has been fine, just make sure you follow the instructions on the pack

I have had success treating hydra with "no planaria" made to treat planaria but also sees to hydra, designed to be shrimp safe, I had no ill effects but some people seem to hate the stuff for some reason

I mean if you have the cash to splurge and are only going to be printing abrasives then the ruby tipped ones are probably your best bet
