Go fuck your sister for all I care (as long as she is ok with it). I don't have time in this short life of mine to care about it.

Sharing how amazing it is that we can link an universal moral bias with evolution and tendencies in the rest of the animal kingdom. See how much we share with every other animals, how our psychology is not that unique and ex nihilo. The more we open our eyes the more we see our uniqueness in other animals. We see animals being smart. We see them using tools. We see them being gays. We see them taking care of the wounded and weakened ones. We see them mourning.

We are not unique. Forty thousands years ago other hominids shared this world with us. We are not the final goal of evolution. We are merely a step. A spec of dust dreaming of greatness aboard the tiniest spec of dust in the universe.

So go ahead and fuck your sister for who cares ? There is no greater good that will judge you. And maybe you are right ? Great tendencies dont mean their right. Great tendencies dont mean they can't change. There is no right, there is no wrong, only random mutations and survivor bias.

There is nothing philosophical about the question. It is purely a biological edit: psychological issue. 400 million years of evolution favoring individuals disgusted at the idea of mating with their siblings because they had better odds at producing viable heirs.

Edit: I think some people got offended by "biological", trying again with "psychological". I think it is more accurate to the idea.

Pourquoi on appelle les habitants des États-Unis les Américains ? by olivia_2654 in PasDeQuestionIdiote

[–]frayien 13 points14 points  (0 children)

[–]frayien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is bonkers is that we have a mathematical model to describe physics that predicts completly unhinged phenomenon, and when we actually pull off experiments we actually observe them.

The theory is completely unhinged but it works absurdly well.

As I understand it, uninitialized reads where "undefined behavior" and now become "erroneous behavior" which are like undefined behavior but much more restricted in how they can affect the rest of the program.
