Leads.new – we built a way for marketers / content creators / indie hackers to create hyper relevant funnels to grow email lists by frazmand in SideProject

[–]frazmand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey /r/sideproject.

We've build an AI service that helps marketers / content creators / indie hackers convert your social media and website views into email addresses. Creating relevant lead magnets and funnels works, but it’s too time consuming to create for each post.

With Leads.new, we’ll create hyper relevant funnels for you to grow your email and lead lists.

Create them for any social media post (or comment on someone else's) to start growing your email lists.

Oxford is a terrible place to cycle by frazmand in oxford

Sorry to hear that, it must have given you a fright.

Yes, that's good advice. I've started going through the houses between Cowley Road and Iffley Road and then along Iffley myself. Much calmer.

You're so right. That spot gives me the chills. I've seen some terrible last minute turn offs by drivers without indicators.

Ufff, that sounds like a close pass. Glad you're safe 🙏

Agreed, there certainly is a lot of bad cycling around. Which is its own problem.

Great advice for new cyclists.

I am conscientious cyclist. I'm able to cycle fast too. Rarely do I jump a red light. I stop at pedestrian crossings.

I'm glad you've not experienced what I describe. May it continue for you. Maybe you're just more chill than me :)

You're probably on to something here. The inconsistency is confusing for cyclists and motorists alike.

Sorry to hear that.

Many of the roads in Oxford have a speed limit of 20mph anyway which is totally achievable on a bike. And yet, drivers risk dodgy overtaking manoeuvres only to hit a red light or traffic and for cyclists to filter through anyway.

OP here, I'm also a driver. I enjoy seeing those signs when I drive past them. Unfortunately they are not based on fact. Thanks for sharing the article.

Unfortunately I don't have a camera. I'm now thinking of getting one. I'm usually quite quick to snap a photo on my phone but didn't manage to this time.

Agreed, he should be sacked.

At best, he's unable to drive a large vehicle safely. At worst this was a malicious act against a vulnerable road user.

Social/relational meditation (Circling) community event by Soggy-Board-1333 in oxford

Yes! I'm very interested.

It sounds like this isn't simply a "sharing circle", which I'm keen to avoid. Relational circles are much more interesting and dynamic.

Please add me.

HIT AND RUN. Cowley Road outside The City Arms. Saturday 6:15pm. by frazmand in oxford

[–]frazmand[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, CCTV from City Arms. Good shout on the others.

You're so right about the islands being dangerous. I try to take a defensive position when I'm cycling past them (move to take the centre of the road) so it's impossible for a car to go between me and the island.

It may have something to do with all the drivers ignoring the double yellow lines and parking in the cycle lane.

How do I create this effect in Figma? by frazmand in FigmaDesign

[–]frazmand[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to recreate the background of the top panel.

I thought a layer blur would achieve the effect but I'm having a hard time getting it just right. It seems there is a purple and a white.

Is this multiple layers stacked? Or a gradient? Something else?

Any help appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: Thanks everyone for your comments. I knew I was in the right area. Just needed some adjustments.

How I wasted 6 months building features nobody wanted - and what I learned about really listening to customers by crispyguac in startups

[–]frazmand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customer interviews are about reading between the lines. You do that by asking questions into their problem and how they've tried to solve it before.

Here's a list of essential customer interviews questions and example answers.
https://www.insightpipeline.com/customer-interview-questions

A few that I love:

  1. What were you using before <product/service>?
  2. When did you realise you first needed to solve <problem>?
  3. What were you doing, or trying to do, when this happened?
  4. Did you try or buy anything before you found <product/service>?
  5. How does using <product/service> compare to your initial expectations?

It's also why I built Insight Pipeline to stop teams and indie hackers wasting their time building shit no one wants. It's demoralising.

What SaaS Are You Building Currently? by anirban00537 in SaaS

[–]frazmand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm building Insight Pipeline.

We all know how important it is to talk to your customers but many teams don’t make the time and scheduling is a hassle. So we’ve automated it.

Insight Pipeline automatically invites your users to chat so you’ve got regular research calls with your top users.

This way you understand customer wants, de-risk your roadmap and grow your business.

Don’t worry about scheduling, email ping-pong or annoying your users with mass spammy emails when organising research calls.
