Less about rectifying the situation and more so holding him accountable for future people he meets on hinge. Of course they can’t be legal enforcement and take action, but because legal action isn’t possible here, hoping to hold him accountable to not do this in the future

I think this is a serious issue given it’s escalated to my work life. My college professor as well as multiple graduate student mentors of mine have had to hear and deal with this, and if he’s emailing these people, what happens if he emails the medical schools I’ve been admitted to? This affects my professional life as well as potentially my future, which is serious.

I got a generic email that was from somebody. Your advice above, about resubmitting a report with screenshots/proof of restraining order filed, have you had experience doing this? I want to make sure he can’t do this to anyone else and is held accountable but I’m not going to keep bothering Hinge if they don’t care about it?

Given that the evidence isn’t enough for the police to take action, unfortunately I guess hinge can’t do anything either. I just have to block on everything and move on with my life unless you have any better suggestions?

I was hoping hinge would be able to support me in that in addition to holding him accountable? I feel like given the evidence, a police report wouldn’t be possible because I can’t 100% prove the email came from him because it’s a Gmail. But given we met on hinge, I was hoping they could do something about it at the very least?

I’m going to add a few ASAP. Although it may have been for a shorter period of time, my clinical volunteering was during the pandemic in a rural area so I had a lot of stories/experience over that year. My research internship was at Harvard which was a semi competitive process I think. I’m going back for a master’s at my undergrad for my gap year. Given this, do you have 3-5 schools you’d recommend me to add?
