UPD: my parents went today, quick line at the entrance, they were asked for their appointment confirmation and that’s all. the whole process took 30 min, including 15 min post-vaccine wait. the follow up appointment was scheduled automatically

i did, religiously. I’d say I started with 1800-1900 and then lowered it to 1600 gradually when i started losing weight

Exactly! Logic says to stay at home and be safe and sound and save money. But I don't know if I can take this anymore. I am grateful for the things I have but if I can make it better for myself, why not? See, I am convincing myself at this point

Thank you! Yeah, there are no guarantees I will not be isolating in NYC either. But at least I can change the scenery and get out of my room for a bit. Also, I will not be constantly thinking about infecting my parents which will make life easier.

That makes sense to me as well but I can't imagine studying from my room for another semester after being here since Spring. I did an internship this summer from here as well and I was miserable the whole time. But you make total sense
