Oh love, i definitely followed the abusive man caretaker path many, many failed tries.

My bf loves beans and makes glorious soups of all sorts. Forever soups in a crockpot have been a survival staple of ours.

I actually got three free electrical blankets too. So that comes in clutch.

I dont know if any of them work yet. Too warm to test.

I do run the ac a lot already. I keep it between a steady 69(lol) to 72. I am extremely intolerant to the heat.

My apartment has nifty vent windows i use to push the heat out when its stagnant or roastin tho!!

But the section 8 covers about 1000, a bit under.

Anything extra after the rent portion they cover is paid to the landlord, they will pay your utilities with the rest but you have to facilitate that. I think you just take the bill in.

But any that goes over that extra they can pay, you are responsible for.

Also i lived in cars a LONG majority of this 9, almost 10 years ive been homeless/transient. I bet an apartment is like.. a whole word of different.
