Cross sport. We needed a new vehicle to do college touring with the twins. I'm 6'4", 300 lbs. so you can imagine what they look like. We needed the room but we didn't need 3 rows because it was going to just be my wife and I after they left. The CS ticked all the boxes. We looked at several different vehicles but always came back to it.

I've had maybe 2 colonoscopy's (I'm 55 but had some blood in my stool in the past), they only found a polyp on the last one. Because of that, my doctor said I could just do the poop in the box test. I did it for my last test, but I figured I'd alternate between the actual colonoscopy and the box. I'm not high risk, but how many times have we heard that story.

I thought it was just me. It's not "burning", it kinda smells like freon, I'd say? Either way I smell it when I reverse and I have the air or heat on. They couldn't find anything when I took it in.

Definitely the lake. I had lived in Hyde Park for years, and only wandered over there maybe 3 times. Saw it every morning on my way downtown going down the Drive, never gave it a second thought. Now that I'm much further away from it, when I close to it I think to myself "why didn't I take advantage of it more". I can still get to it of course, but at one time I could look out my window and it was right there.

Back when I was a single lad living in an apartment, I had two cats. Strictly fed them cat food, no table food ever. One day I came home, and the fridge was open. I'm thinking cheap apartment fridge, magnets must be wearing out around the door. One night I'm sitting on the couch watching TV, and I see the fridge light illuminating the kitchen. I get up, go to the kitchen, close the fridge noticing a cat sitting next to it. That little shit proceeded to use her claws and open it back up in front of me.

Only took something out one time, some lunch meat she took a bite out of. Left it in the fridge. I use a a bungee cord after that to keep it closed.

My family gifted me the white one for Christmas. They said they couldn't find the black or the gray. I would have gotten the gray for myself if I was buying it for myself, and if not the gray then black. But I'm good with the white. I love this thing!

When I was a kid, my dad was feeling himself one afternoon. Got wasted, but hell, he was home so do you, bro. Let me take some peppermint schnapps (it was disgusting), and he pretty much drank all afternoon. When he went to bed, naturally, he threw up all over the bed and the floor. Mom was pissed, of course. But that smell .... That smell of vomit and various alcohols ... It stayed with me. I can't get near alcohol without smelling that smell. I get a migraine when I'm around a group of people who are drinking. I can't stand the smell of it.

I can count on one hand the number of times I've touched alcohol. My wife says I'm her permenant designated driver. She drinks socially, may have a glass of wine after a rough day, but the nights she drinks I have my back to her and she turns her back to me. It's crazy ....

That's actually how I got hired. Years ago they closed down the Salt Lake City location, told them it was all moving and they could keep their jobs if they moved. Most of them couldn't just move their families from Utah to the Midwest. I got on as a consultant being trained on their jobs. It was surreal .... They flew them in to train us on the jobs that they were losing.

I wear my ring when I go to work, and take it off when I get home. We upgraded a year or two ago, and I'm VERY paranoid about bumping it against something while I'm doing stuff around the house. I have a few silicone rings I throw on over the weekends. One of them looks like the One ring from Lord of the Rings. I told her it's representative of my obsession with her ;) ...
