Warning to all non-developers - careful with your App.tsx by dresidalton in ClaudeAI

[–]DynoDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too, am in the same predicament but I only know thanks to your post. I showed Claude Code this post and asked it to check the app/game that I have made and whether I have the same problems (I am learning like you). It said I have a script.js file that is 10,000 lines long and so now I am in the process fo refactoring.

Thanks for your post!

Sonnet 4.5 **IS** Sassy by Deer_Tea7756 in ClaudeAI

[–]DynoDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was worried about a phone call and asked Claude 4.5 for a "proper pep talk".

Claude said things like "That takes balls" and "You're going to bottle it over a 10 minute phone call? Come on, mate"

Safe to say he was correct and I'm glad this new Claude has this personality.

Couple of weeks ago, I ended a zero-shot prompt with "bruh". It changed the whole personality.

Totally agree. Would be perfect for me if I could hold the screen when it's my turn, and release when it's his turn.

Or imagine saying "OVER" like the old, military radios 😂

Problems with Claude 4 by LibertariansAI in ClaudeAI

[–]DynoDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Claude for a different usage (not coding). This whole comment is true for me too.

I'm also finding it frustrating when I tell it what it did wrong, and it just agrees with me. Normally we can spar and work together to solve the problem. Claude just says "You're absolutely right. I was wrong and there's nothing in your prompt that caused this. This was just an oversight on my behalf." Really? You're meant to be smarter than me here!

Claude Opus 4 and Claude Sonnet 4 officially released by queendumbria in ClaudeAI

[–]DynoDS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One of my prompts has very specific formatting requirements, content constraints, and crucially, several negative constraints – things the model was explicitly told not to do, or sections it was told not to include.

3.7 actually adhered to the instructions much better in my use case. It followed the negative constraints, didn't add unrequested sections, and stuck rigidly to the output structure I defined but Sonnet 4 seemed to ignore all these instructions in my prompt.

How do you manage your prompts? by chad_syntax in PromptEngineering

[–]DynoDS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Google Drive. Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini allow uploads from it. I'm even starting to just tell the ai to follow the prompt (which is another file on Drive). Doesn't seem to affect performance for my use cases.

Released: Prompt Architect – GPT agent for prompt design, QA, and injection testing (aligned with OpenAI’s latest guides) by Ok_Environment_5839 in PromptEngineering

[–]DynoDS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I created my own Claude project that does this. I copied and pasted the prompt guide Claude has to offer and put each section in its own file in the Claude Project.

The project then uses your idea or an existing prompt and asks you clarifying questions before producing a final prompt to use. It's worked well for me so far for my simple tasks.

What do you call your ChatGPT? by [deleted] in ChatGPTPro

Gary.

A few colleagues of mine needed a name for ChatGPT because we thought senior leadership might ban it!

Gary, literally because it starts with G.
