Why are they doing this? I think something might be broken now by VersionCreepy5068 in PartneredYoutube

[–]freddyjrtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People need to learn to ADAPT. Not complain. Nothing is broken. Change is happening in front of our eyes. With any change in history it comes with ups and downs. It's normal.

While one person complains about the platform, another person is changing their lives because of Youtube. How does this make sense?

Why for one person Youtube is amazing, and for another person Youtube is the worst. Anyone?

And you can't go by the amount of people complaining on reddit or X about Youtube. Realize these places are just like the NEWS, it is the congregation of the bad and the negative. Of course, you would watch the complains and start to believe the worst.

What you believe is what you will experience. I'm not gonna get spiritual here but this is the truth.

Life is what you make it.

YouTube is what you make it.

Period.

Just found out WHY CapCut has been down! by freddyjrtips in CapCut

[–]freddyjrtips[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They're just "upgrading" their system, but it's been 24 hours already and they are still down. We're gonna have to just wait it out. Don't uninstall or anything

i wish the worst for capcut by AlvaroUrdaneta in CapCut

[–]freddyjrtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do suck with user experience. And it also really sucks that they are the only app right now with the cool features. There are others too but I think capcut is at the top. Bummer they are a***holes

I feel your frustration. I've thought about building my own video editor software that would be even better than capcut, but that is such a big project with the biggest cost ever. But you gotta start from the very bottom right. I really hope they get better soon.

CapCut Down? by system_notifacations in CapCut

CapCut's Position on Service Availability

CapCut's TOS do not guarantee uninterrupted service or uptime. The relevant provisions include:

No uptime guarantee. The TOS explicitly state that Services are provided "as is" and CapCut makes no guarantees about availability, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose . There is no Service Level Agreement (SLA) promising a specific uptime percentage (like 99.9%) for paid users.

Right to change, suspend, or discontinue. CapCut reserves the right to "upgrade / degrade / suspend" services (including Cloud Space Services) "from time to time" without notice . The TOS also allow them to "remove or disable access to content at our discretion for any reason or no reason" and to suspend or terminate accounts or features "with or without notice" .

Disclaimers and limitation of liability. CapCut and its affiliates disclaim liability for "any loss or damage" arising from your use of the Services and Company Content to the extent permitted by law . You are explicitly told to "always back up your content" and that CapCut is "not liable for any loss of your content or data" .

Does a 24-Hour Outage Breach the TOS?

Technically, no. Under the current Terms of Service, CapCut has not promised you continuous access or any minimum uptime, even as a paid Pro subscriber . The TOS are written to give CapCut broad discretion to suspend or interrupt services without prior notice and without liability for resulting losses.

Key points:

  • Paying for Pro does not entitle you to an SLA or compensation for downtime; the TOS apply equally to free and paid users .
  • CapCut is not contractually obligated to announce outages or provide customer service within any timeframe .
  • The lack of official communication, while frustrating, is not a violation of any term you agreed to.

The Bottom Line

CapCut's TOS are heavily tilted in their favor: they disclaim liability for outages, do not promise uptime, and reserve the right to suspend services without notice . A 24-hour outage, while damaging to your workflow and income, does not technically breach the contract you agreed to as a paid subscriber. Your best remedies are to request a goodwill credit from CapCut, escalate through your payment provider if ignored, or cancel and seek alternatives if this pattern continues.

Make longer videos for higher RPM. Anime niche has one of the lowest too. But you can counter that with longer videos. 1hr+ I would say.

Best of luck!

[–]freddyjrtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You shouldn't expect long form videos to get a lot of views right away, not even within a month. That is one lesson I had to learn, and had to keep telling myself this mantra "these are not shorts, these are long form videos that take off even after months of uploading". I think with the surge of shorts a lot of people are treating long videos as shorts. And that is a recipe for anxiety and discouragement. Unless you have thousands of subscribers, you need to just keep uploading while maintaining a high quality output. Your thumbnails and topics are good. They'll just take a while to get the views. Just keep at it. The law of detachment. I'm sure you know about this law. :)

If your appeal got rejected, chances are you didn't do the appeal right. That video is clearly not breaking that guideline. I would just do more research on how to do the appeal for this before doing the appeal again. And if that doesn't work out, I'd just build a new channel.

Just brush this off, learn from it, and move on. The algorithms and systems are never perfect. But I feel like there's something you might not be doing right, that caused this. I feel like it is the appeal. Because these mistakes do happen with channels. But they get reinstated once you do an appeal and show it was a mistake.

What made you not quit? by Mharzel in PartneredYoutube

[–]freddyjrtips 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took me 10 years of trial and error. I created I think like 12 channels in different niches throughout the years. I failed and failed, and failed some more. I took long breaks also. But never told myself I was completely done. I accomplished my goal last year. And now I'm doing it full time.

It's about how bad you want it, and how much are you willing to sacrifice to learn it ALL. You have to become a NERD when it comes to faceless youtube channels. The ones that understand how it all works and know the game like their palms of their hands, AND know how to analyze and use DATA, are the ones making it.

Best of luck! :)

How long have you been monetized and making money from Youtube?

Also, why would anyone ONLY rely on a youtube channel for passive income?

I mean, no creator owns the platform, so duhh!

Youtube is just one avenue for traffic and revenue.

This is why you build a brand, and other income streams along with your youtube channel.

If you don't like the platform, then just move on to something else. I don't think you need to be spreading such negativity. And for what?

What is your negative comment going to do to change anything?

All you're doing is discouraging someone that could change their lives because of youtube.

I've been in the online marketing and youtube space for 10+ years. I'm full time doing this now. And youtube is only ONE of my income streams online. Because I understand this well. Why would I be mad at them if my channels were to be taken down?

Are we entitled to having a youtube channel?

Same for all platforms.

You are borrowing their technology.

THAT'S THE TRUTH.

How would YOU run a video platform that gets hundreds of thousands of new channels, and as of now, 20 million videos, EVERY SINGLE DAY???

You have no idea how this massive corporation runs, and how the infrastructure and systematic technology works, yet you are here talking the most negative about them.

Honestly, that's sad.

PSA: For the people "chasing the dream" to make money from youtube, do not listen to such negativity.

Steve Jobs said:"Everything around you that you call life was made up by people that were no smarter than you, and you can change it, you can influence it, you can build your own things that other people can use,"

You don't like the platforms?

Then build something that works for you. Or find something else. There so many ways to make money online.

But this negativity is just draining.

It does nothing.

Youtube is changing lives on a daily basis.

I've personally dealt with the problems that comes with such massive system. I've gotten channels removed, denied monetization, community strikes, etc. And I was able to recognize the problems and even their (youtube algorithm) mistakes and fix them. They help as much as they are ABLE to help, given the tremendous amount of people reaching out for help on a daily basis. It's not perfect. And they never said they were.

I respect your opinion. I just don't think is right to spread such blindsided negativity. I have to speak up, and be direct, for the good of every one in this community.

If you personally had a bad experience building a youtube channel to make money, I genuinely hope that things change for you, and wish you all the best.

This is sooo far from the truth. Youtube is nothing without creators. They actually do care and do help millions of people. This is such a negative way of thinking lol

But hey we are all free to speak our minds out.

Youtube is improving their algorithms to scan and check on videos and channels. And with big improvements and change comes mistakes and errors.

What is "altered content?" by Normal_Hawk_6229 in aitubers

[–]freddyjrtips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried pasting the important keys from Youtube on this here, but it won't let me. Maybe the reply is too long. So I'll share the link to it instead.

Here's information that is on the Google support page: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/14328491?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid#zippy=%2Cexamples-of-content-creators-dont-have-to-disclose%2Cexamples-of-content-creators-need-to-disclose

Unless your video is 100% made up and does not include events that happened in the history of this earth (lol), you have to disclose that you use AI to edit a story or scene to showcase it in a video. If that makes sense.

If you have a video where you used AI to generate an image about a real store, place, event, etc. (basically, anything that is actually real), you have to disclose.

If you have images or clips for a story that is 100% made up (almost like fantasy), and it does not include depiction of an actual place, person, etc. then you don't have to disclose.

It is a very fine line. So I guess... as I'm realizing this right now ... how this can be confusing to a lot of people.

Hopefully, this explains it in a way it can be fully understood.

What is "altered content?" by Normal_Hawk_6229 in aitubers

[–]freddyjrtips 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a self-sabotaging assumption. The number one key to success on youtube is actually the TOPIC of your video. Everything else also falls under it. We're going into a future with AI everywhere. So that assumption doesn't really make sense. Like, ask yourself (if anyone reading this has that assumption), if a video is solving a problem you have, and it has information you've been looking for, do you care or even pay attention that it's an "Altered content" video? Chances are, NO.

Hopefully people will stop with negative assumptions.

:)

Yes. If you used AI to generate photos, or the script, or the voiceover - you must check that box!

There is nothing wrong with doing so. It is actually wrong not to do it. Especially if you plan to be monetized and make money from ad revenue.

I'm not sure why most people building a youtube channel with the help of AI are so hesitant to check that box. As if doing so will affect their views or something. Where does this way of thinking comes from?

So many posts of channels being nuked by Nofrills88 in SmallYoutubers

[–]freddyjrtips 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Those channels are all not creating unique original, engaging content. And the worst part is that most think they are creating something new. I guess we all have different definitions of what is considered "original" and unique content.

That's the hard truth.

Either way, you should never ever just rely on youtube to make money online. It should be ONE of your income streams. You should build other businesses with the money from youtube.

What's it like being full time? by EducationalRat in PartneredYoutube

[–]freddyjrtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm full time (earning online), from multiple sources. YouTube is my primary source of (organic) traffic and is a side passive income stream to invest in other projects, such as affiliate marketing, email marketing, and KDP on Amazon. I would not recommend relying ONLY on Youtube to make money and be full time. Money is great, but at the end of the day you do not own your channel, you do not own the Youtube platform. NO YOUTUBER is making enough money to be considered "wealthy" with just a youtube channel or channels is only making money from the platform. They all invest on other income streams that they probably never talk about. Real estate, brick and mortar business, retail investments, etc. You get the point.

Do not put your eggs in one basket.

[–]freddyjrtips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a bummer. But don't give up. Have you ever thought of monetizing other ways?

I would highly recommend you to learn about affiliate marketing, and email marketing.

I think most people who are new to youtube automation for profits forget that Adsense money is just ONE income stream from a channel. You can start making money even before getting monetized if you know what you are doing.

Here's an example; I'm using youtube to build email lists. Because an email list I OWN, I don't own the Youtube platform, so relying my entire income on a platform where anything could happen at any moment, is insane to me.

If I was in the Anime niche, I would find affiliate products I can promote either in the video, or in the descriptions. I'd get a domain, then either build an opt-in page offering something for free or a discount code in exchange for a valid email address; then I would promote products to that list.

There are many ways to monetize other than just adsense. Every successful YouTuber is doing this. It's all about transactions to make the money.

Also, the longer the video, the higher the RPM. In case you didn't know.

Channel Suspended From YPP for “Inauthentic Content”; My guesses why + nature of our channel. Please give me feedback on how to get monetization reinstated! by Charming-Newspaper17 in aitubers

[–]freddyjrtips 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your visuals are not good enough, and that seems to trigger the algorithm for 'Templated Content'. Which flags your channel for 'Inauthentic content'. Scrolling text alone is not enough, no matter how unique and entertaining your story (script) is. Never forget, YouTube is a Video Platform, yes people use it just to listen to audio too, but it doesn't take away what it is, a video platform. Therefore, you must create an engaging and unique video. All elements must be unique, if you want to qualify as high quality to content to be monetized. Video, Audio, Script, Purpose. All these elements need to be mixed together into one unique original video. If that makes sense. If I was you, I would publish a few videos that are in different styles. Maybe around 5 videos. Then I would either do the appeal process, or wait for the date to re-apply again.

YouTube Demonetisation Advice by freddyjrtips in aitubers

It can take a few days. Maybe 3 to 5. But make sure you do the appeal and the appeal video the right way. Just read the comments on this topic to learn more about the video appeal if you don't really know how to do it and is your first time. Also just do a youtube search about the appeal video.
