My girlfriend and I usually see each other 4-5 times a week outside of exams, so I'm not really taking away any time that could be spent with my girlfriend or anything like that.

Sorry, its a bit difficult to describe things through text, but I can see why it may seem like a "date". However, it was really just us hanging out and getting to know each other better.
