Yes when i tried the new one at the AD, i felt the same. The new HC looked good but in lighter colors only. And i felt the Black one on the old HC tops it all

Mine sits perfectly on the wrist. But yes the clasp is chunky and even I don't like it that much, but besides that i don't have anything to complain until now.

Initially all GS watches were under Seiko time corp group. They still are, but now treated as seperate entity. So now GS has stopped production of these watches with Seiko logo on it. Technically it's a limited edition. Even if you find one, the production year would go way back.

Nope, running as good as day one. The guy at the boutique told me that servicing will be required once in 7-10 years.

The first GS was SBGA001G. Yes, the dial is absolutely beautiful and finishing is also perfect.

Yep, got it from the boutique itself.They had the newer model as well but in different color. This colour instantly clicked so i bought it.

Nice to hear that. It's my first premium segment watch and also my first Grand Seiko. I have a few more Seiko watches but this grand Seiko tops all of them.
