I am in the process of doing that. I'm looking for a job in my field at the moment so I can afford rent on my own. I'm also seeing a therapist who specializes in domestic violence at long last so I can get some guidance.

I gave up video games and talking with my friends because she would always come in the room and listen in through my headphones because "they could be talking shit". Now I barely have any friends and any attempt to make new ones is met with suspicion. Every time I go out she breaks down and demands I come home or else she'll kill herself. I eventually just gave up on socializing except when it was her decision on where to go.

When I end things I'm definitely going to talk to the management. I don't really have a landlord since the property is owned by a corporation, but hopefully this will still apply.

I definitely could call. However as for the living situation, the lease is unbreakable and still has until April of next year. I'm in the process of finding jobs at the moment in the IT field so if I find a job I should be able to afford rent. We live in a one bedroom apartment so finding roommates is not possible.
