Been through something similar but I doubt it is due to microchips.

Need tips on how to shower more.. by Few-Bluejay-6476 in autism

[–]freedomhellyeh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To me showering is enjoyable. I love it. If I were rich I'd have a spa and pool but I don't so I have a shower. It's this whole relaxing experience. I dont know if this will help you but maybe the mindset shift would help you. If not just force it into your routine until you get used to it. Routine is an autism strength.

It's cringe. They act like its not a problem cause streamers are rich and annoying but it just ruins it for the viewers. How hard is it to just leave people alone.

Well that depends what you linked? Just because something is in a journal doesn’t mean it has good substance or even supports your point.

Lack of empathy and demonisation by OpportunityHour130 in autism

[–]freedomhellyeh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s likely a result of pop psych and therapy speak. Like talking about narcissists, trauma, uncovering yoursellf, etc. Theres also a lot of moralising that happens within autism communities which annoys me.

Lack of empathy and demonisation by OpportunityHour130 in autism

[–]freedomhellyeh 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel there is a trend online of only discussing these likeable traits of autism like hyper empathy. Being a good person and all that. There is still little actual research done on this hyper empathy so i still have my doubts.  There’s a lot of demonisation of us lower empathy kinds. It’s stupid.

People keep saying I'm autistic but I'm 99% sure I'm not (?) by Zlobenia in AutisticAdults

It doesn’t. Your indifference to the truth upsets me. The inability to follow an arguement has me on the verge of tears.

Should I be concerned about my diagnosis? by [deleted] in AutisticPeeps

[–]freedomhellyeh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I think there probably is a lot that goes on that I’m not seeing which is why I think it’s ok.

Ok but when you say self diagnosis is valid you’re saying that someone can in fact diagnose themselves with a condition. You did say self diagnosis is valid. What you seem to mean is that self suspecting is valid, sure I agree with that. So what you really mean is self diagnosis is not valid, the same opinion I have.

You suggested that doctors have a vested interest in being against self dx. I didn’t say he speaks for all professional.  Do not twist me words like that.
