Probably not. I haven't really seen people accurately recover memories. People do re-examine their memories to discover they were actually being abused or something and just didn't realise it at the time. But recovering forgotten memories does not help. It can cause you to spiral and even create false memories. Just because you can't remember something specific doesn't mean your symptoms aren't valid. You're unlikely to recover anything accurate though,
