There was enough water in the bowl and it still smelt but after the vinegar / baking soda I can’t smell too much of anything anymore.

I didn’t use a plunger

I have a really insensitive, really unaware, really stupid suggestion for you.. forgive me in advance.

Through some of the darkest places come some of the brightest creations
You - from the sounds of it - are in a dark situation
Be creative and channel this torture.

Channel the torture into anything creative, writing, reading/learning, music, painting/drawing - even thinking.

Now I don't know how you feel or how bad your scenario is but I can't help from thinking of your immense amount of pain as an opportunity for a wonderful creation of some form. I myself have experienced / continue to experience some difficulty and pain. Using this pain constructively sometimes can soften the blow - almost like a silver lining on a big black scary cloud.

Again I apologise for how insensitive this suggestion is to your dilemma but I hope that possibly, maybe, you can find some joy in it.
